Cool. We are on the same timeline. My order went in on the 15th and just this morning Deysha told me my VIN was assigned and my salesman emailed me shortly thereafter to tell me mine was scheduled for the week of November 4th!

Sweet. Looks great.

I hope the wrapper is already off by now and there is at least a couple hundred miles on it by the end of the weekend! Best of luck with it.

Hey guys. New to this site. Decided to not wait on the 15 Stang and ordered a 14 mustang on oct 15.Black GT, 301 Equip group, track package. Can't wait to see that VIN and track it somehow. Quick question:My VOC says Priority 80-Order type 2 but in another screenshot I had sent from the dealer earlier I was Priority 10-Order type 1. I did everything by phone and never went to the dealer. I know if I call the dealer I will have the answer but just wanted to mention it to hear your comments on this and if everyone else has had this situation before. Maybe I just got screwed. Just hoping I get the car before the second week of december and start customizing!

Yea! I finally have it!
Ordered 6/28.
Ford Plan Summer shutdown approximately 7/1-8/1.
Built 8/23.
Delivered to Roush 8/28.
Entered Roush production line 9/17.
Roush completed somewhere between 9/27 & 10/1.
Delivered to Dealer 10/8.
Of course I was out of town...
Returned and Picked up car on 10/18.
Best day ever! This has been a very long time coming but worth the wait. Car is everything I hoped for and more. Love the way everything came together.

Here's a few pics, and more at the newbie post here:

The wait was a killer, but I get a warm fuzzy feeling everytime I see it.

Saw my dealer on Saturday to finalize some papers for a Monday or Tuesday pickup. Nothing more torturous than sitting in your new car in awe at how good it looks --> only to hand back the keys and say "see you on Monday". :-)

Picked up my mustang Saturday morning, already put over a hundred miles on it! lol I look for any excuse to take the car out.

Here's a question for anyone that can answer. I got the GT-CS and I though that the lower back end was supposed to be different than that on the GT is this true? Can someone please put up a picture of the back of their GT-CS with the stock exhaust in?

They wouldn't even slap a dealer tag on for you to take home for the weekend?
That would be torture!! Hopefully you get it today.

I'm barely qualified to answer this being that I don't own one yet but I think you are right that the rear valance is different. I say this because in looking at the install of the GT500 quad tip exhaust, the rear bumper of the GT needs to be cut to accept the GT 500 rear valance while the GT/CS bumper does not. This leads me to believe there is some difference.

BTW, congrats on the new car!

I'm getting my GT-CS in a couple week. it cmes with a "rear diffuser-style lower fascia" which is different from the standard GT. I found some images online which show the coparison.

I also work for a 3rd party contractor to Ford that does business in FRAP, I'm hoping to see my car go through final assembly! It really is awesome watching these beauties go through the assembly process.
I want to go too!! Welcome and congrats, RubyRedMCA_Beast.
