Well, I know you have time to re-order, or is up to you if you want to have them do the install upon delivery, JDMontana. Please keep me updated with your next steps.

My question is, how do I find out my build date if my dealer can't help. I ordered the car 24/Jul. Any help would be appreciated.

I’ll be more than happy to help you out, guys. Welcome! Just PM me with your dealer’s name and order numbers.

For those who have received their cars, is Deysha able to confirm the delivery of the vehicle once it actually arrives there?

Thanks.
I sure can, MD1! BTW, the new ETA is 8/21/13.

I do not need a Mustang buried in the snow or one to move all winter when I need to plow, or pay insurance on, and make payments on while it losses value. I have a nice truck and don't need this car at all. I would like top know when 2014 production is ending. I haven't made a decision on accepting this car, or possibly ordering a new one which defiently won't be until Jan 2014, or never owning a Ford period. I can tell you that 18 WEEKS is not acceptable for a delivery timetable when it should have been 6-12 weeks. I made enough calls and emails to Ford and the dealer so this could have been fixed much sooner. I am sorry for the negativity but this whole thing has been terrbilly wrong.

Well, another swing and a miss on my 8/20 ETA. Think I am done caring, maybe I will still feel like having a new car when it finally decides to arrive. Pm'ed Deysha two days ago but no response, I know she is busy so no worries there but my dealer just says "I'll call you when it hits the lot". Is it really that hard to check on it? Am I just asking to much for a $34,000 purchase? Oh well, there goes the plans to order a F-250 in the future. Think I will go Dodge. To all those who have recently gotten or about to pick up their new car, Congradulations and drive them like you stole 'em!

I always wanted a Camaro 20 years ago when I couldn't afford it; but now, I think the (new) Camaros are ugly. If there were no mustangs, I'd probably jump to a completely different type of sporty car, like a BRZ, rather than consider a Camaro.

Wow. Mine was built on the same day, went on the train last week and my ETA at my dealer in Franklin, Wisconsin isn't till 8/28

My CC's lease has a couple of months yet so technically there's no hurry. Still, I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas morning.

I know your pain. Mine took 94 days and I was about to jump ship but it was worth the wait. Try to hang in there, inspect it well before you accept it, any issues, order a '15.

Deysha, would you be kind enough to confirm that my car has arrived at the dealership?

Thank you.

From order to delivery was right at 10 weeks; just about average when figuring in the July plant shutdown. It seems once the rail cars transfer to the Union Pacific in Illinois, they make it to the So Cal terminal in just 3-4 days.

Big thanks to Deysha for answering any inquiries about the production and shipping status. Between her and my dealer, I was kept in the loop throughout the entire process.

I am already beyond 94 days, actually It wasn't even built until 97 days. I am no longer willing to pay the price quoted, that contract and deal has expired. My delivery to the dealer isn't until 121 days! I get pissed when I even think about it, there is no enjoyment left. The dealer will need to compensate me with a lower price or they can keep it. I can promise you that.

The dealer that took your order didn't have an allocation from what it appears. That's pretty low.

My dealer was pretty clear, I got their last one for the summer. If I waited one extra day ( the 11th), I would have to wait for their next one. Two other dealers in my area would have loved to take my money but they warned me it would be a long wait. There allocations were already spoken for.

Your dealer should have told you.

I think the changes are pretty minimal, but I'm not an expert.
