2013 Ordered/Built/Delivered Thread
Thanks so much...you're just terrific!
I knew my dealer messed up & ordered me 2 cars.
ETA 6/5 is not one I want so looks like I have to start all over?
I was told both order #'s were linked to same order. Guess not?
I can't believe I'm waiting since March 30th only to find out I need to start all over
I ordered on 3/21. I don't have a VIN yet. Get in line. Trust me, it could be worse. Patience is a virtue.
The worse part is there is no longer an ETA. It was removed 4/28 and not replaced. So, the rough part is the not knowing. If it is delayed a couple weeks, fine just say so. I can wait. But having to call and bug my dealer 2 times a day (they look for updates at 8:00 and 3:00 every day) kinda sucks. Now all of the anticipation is being replaced with disillusionment.
Where are you darlin?
Oddly, my sticker had "convoy" which means it was supposed to be shipped by truck yet Ford believes it to be on rail. They just don't know where or if it even got on a train.

13 Brother, this is a sad story. I hope they find your car soon. I now realize we were very lucky to have ours in six weeks. I guess the Mustang Gods were smiling on us, and the moon and stars aligned properly. May they smile on you soon.

Indeed. I got a VIN, car was built 4/12, had an ETA of 4/27. Now, no one knows exactly where the car is. It has basically been in transit for 3 weeks. That is one hell of a trip from Michigan to Virginia.

So I won´t be seeing my car until let's say the 25th, after it goes through all the import and registration process.
Mine was built on 3/26 and had an eta of 4/2 but was held for inspection, it was released week before last with an ETA of 5/2 but that has come and gone. I'm told it is shipping and I talked to the dealer and he had the same info as what I was told by Deysha. It is in shipping and will show up some day. I am frustrated to say the least, and concerned about the hold that has lasted so long.
Same boat as you. GT-V8 built on 3/20, sitting in shipping yard for inspection and no idea when it will be released. Going to be TWO MONTHS since it was built and just sitting OUTSIDE in the snow, acid rain, bird doo-doo, ect. I am getting the point where I WILL cancel the order and reorder. I want a NEW vehicle, not something that has been exposed to the environment for so long. NOT the dealers fault, but I do blame Ford. TWO MONTHS? What a way to run a business!!!
