It's painful to me to see how quickly you got your car (congrats BTW) cause I'm just up the freeway from Flat Rock. Mine was built on 4/14 and is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I'm hoping for good news from either Deysha or the dealership today or tomorrow.

 

Haha same here. I ordered only four days after she did, but mine is taking five weeks longer. Wish there was an explanation for it.

That said, congrats Sparrow! Your car looks beautiful.

Have you guys seen a big difference in your ETA from the dealer (May 3) and the ETA from Deysha (April 27)?

 

I never bothered to get one from the dealer, I got the info from Deysha quicker.

 

I will be able when I get one from anyone How long did it take you to get one from either one after you ordered it?

 

Both my dealer and Deysha tell me ETA for my car is May 5th. I called F.C.S. to find out when it will be loaded onto the train. (Currently my car is sitting in Flat Rock). F.C.S. can only tell me that the ETA to my dealer is May 5th - but no idea when it'll leave Flat Rock.

 

Once I got my DORA from the dealer (about 12 days after ordering), I sent a PM to Deysha. It took her a couple days to get to it (with all the ordering going on, she's been slammed with requests). Since then I've been keeping my salesman updated with the info I've gotten from Deysha.

 

Just want to publicly give kudos to Deysha for being a Rockstar by keeping me updated on my Shelby order! Just got my build date, VIN and delivery of May 14th. Yahoo, just in time for Summer. Thanks Deysha!!!

For me, my dealer estimated delivery the first week of May on build day, then Deysha gave me an ETA of 4/27 as the car was sitting outside the plant, then the dealer gave me an ETA of 5/3 after it shipped. As you can imagine I'm rooting for Deysha's number!

 

I've been trying to get an update on the order but haven't heard from Deysha so far. Who else from Ford customer service can I reach out to?

Jerel, I've done the same. My Salesguy ask where I get my info. I just tell him I've got a little birdie that keeps me in the loop.

BTW, I read that Deysha was out of the office on Monday, so she will be a bit behind. I can't imagine her workload with all the orders that have been placed. What a Woman.

 

Nice, another Shelby order. Can I ask when you placed it? May 14 is the earliest delivery I've heard so far for a GT500. I ordered 4/7 so I'm wondering if it's weeks or months at this point.

Hey outtaphase, I ordered on 3/9....The build date is scheduled for 5/7 and eta of 5/14. I have heard from some other people with Shelby orders of builds in that same week with orders placed mainly early March...but one as late as 4/4...but there are a number of orders placed late March that are still waiting on a build date. With luck, yours may get pulled in soon.
