Hi all. Im getting the serious itch to trade my 06 GT for a 2013 with all the goodies!!. I used this site back in early 2006 when ordered back then to track the DORA, VIN creation, build, and ship. It was a fun experience. Is this the place to do it again?
Thanks
Chris
Thanks
Chris

When you order your 2013, just PM Deysha with your order # and dealer #.
Just placed my order for an impact blue V6 premium convertable with black interior and top. All options except automatic & navigation. My last new mustang was an 85 GT. They were only $12,500 back then. I would also like to track the order once I get the VIN #.

Here's some stats on rail travel for delivery of my order. Hopefully this helps someone who is anxious (such as myself) in the future. I was looking for this information but couldn't find it.
Day 1 - Flat Rock MI to Griffith IN (Departs 4/13) ~233 miles cumulative
Day 6 - Texas (4/19) ~1261 miles cumulative
Day 7 - Winslow AZ (4/20) ~1843 cumulative (last update this morning)
BNSF Phoenix Sub (El Mirage) ~1943 cumulative
Keeping in mind that these are "as of last update" times - it seems to be ~250 miles per day. Your mileage may vary.
It seems to be that transit time improves west of the Mississippi - likely due to less switching of rail lines or the lower density of population. (Google for maps of rail system).
Thanks again to Deysha - who proactively provided the Texas update (I didn't even have to ask for it!).
So my next wait will probably be the day or two that it takes to unload at El Mirage and be placed on a hauler over to my side of the Phoenix Metro area.
I'm guessing that's early next week as I don't think we'll be able to keep up the good pace going into the weekend. My most recent official ETA is 4/27.

Yep, for the 1st batch of Bosses heading my way, there is another SBY w/ 2/27 build and a GB 2/27 build. My GHIG should arrive with them but it was a 3/10 build.
