I ordered the 1st time from the lying lowlifes at King Ford .Then after being told no-can-do ,I reorderd 9-29.

WAL, your snakemobile is just superb-- congratulations. I don't know how you were able to endure the wait, but I'm glad you can now begin to enjoy that beautiful machine. Mine is due to be built 11-2, and I'm as fidgety as a hoor in church!

Thanks Mickstang!!! I spent last night and today removing the shipping plastic and stickers, washing, vacuuming and installing the air dam and hood struts. Tomorrow is clay and waxing. Then I'll concentrate on getting the break-in miles on her so I can start enjoying the horsepower.
Hope yours comes sooner than later so you can start feeling more comfortable in church.

I ordered on 10/8. The dealer I ordered from was pretty matter-of-fact about everything. I was able to get the car for MSRP. I didn't get a DORA until about a week after I placed my order though...my only complaint. The order sat in processing for a couple of weeks. I got an "official" build week from SVT, but they weren't able to provide me with a VIN#. So, I sent a PM to Deysha and she confirmed the build week and got me my VIN. She said that I should have a final build date by next week. I only put down 3k on the order deposit, but plan on paying for the car in full once my dealer gives me the VIN...even though I already have it.

Hey Deysha,
Not only did my car arrive at my dealership today, but I took delivery late this afternoon!!! They did the mechanical PDI, but I asked them to leave the "wrappings" on and skip the wash. Tomorrow I'll be unwrapping, washing and waxing. Here are a few snapshots I took at the dealership.

GT track pack. Since I wasnt driving the Boss and didnt want to put too many miles on it, I finally realized it was too expensive of a car to let sit and not enjoy it. LOVED the car, but since it was about time to get rid of the Pontiac G8, I traded it in on a Ecoboost Flex(was going for a SHO Taurus) for more room for the family. Now I can get a GT and mod it a little without worrying about the value of the car.....

You answered my questions in less than 4 hrs. The dealer has spent a week searching for my car after insisting it shipped last Tuesday (with a 1 day transit to Indianapolis via truck). They said they could not figure out what happened, where the car was at, or anything else for that matter. The frustrations...
I get to see my 2013 GT500 tomorrow. Can't wait. Thanks again.
