Lo ordene desde la primera semana de Enero y era el precio que tenían en ese momento q aparte, no había salido el precio oficial del 2013.
Me imagino si que ya de fijo subió el precio por los nuevos impuestos. Y mas bien estoy rezando que el nuevo plan fiscal dure por lo menos hasta julio en pasar para que no me suba el precio a mi.

(I ordered the car back in the first week of January and that was the price they gave me at the time so I ordered it, official 2013 pricing was not released yet by that time. I would guess that the new pricing is including the new tax plan that the Costarican government is trying to pass in Congress. I am praying that the new tax plan is approved after July so I don´t have to pay a price adjustment.)

Ellos no han subido ningun precio por plan fiscal, no pueden, tendria que pasar primero y despues si. Me habian dicho 61mil casi sin extras, y cuando vi su precio tan barato de 56, me extraño, por eso me interesa su info.
Es que la nave que yo estoy pidiendo viene con todas las opciones disponibles, y segun ellos no han podido configurarme el precio todavia, pero yo calculo que andaria entre los 70 y 75 mil dolares.
Pero eso es lo de menos, lo que mas importa es, y que me puede ayudar a mi, es que tipo de descuento consiguio usted compa? Cuanto le rebajaron?
Si usted pidio una nave de 60 mil y se la dejaron en 56700 por decir algo, eso me serviria para negociar con mas fuerza. Ya con un precedente de por medio y asi ver que tan flexibles son esos maes. Ya le dieron el DORA y lo demas? En cuanto tiempo le estan dando su nave?

I know one of our dudes on here caught some resistance from his dealer about the whole situation. Hope this goes smooth. I'd hate to threaten cancellation of my order if they give me trouble.

Lol.. It's not up to the dealer to honor the coupon. Program headquarters will be the one along with the dealers sales rep to extend the expiration date if need be. Threatening to cancel your car won't help your cause. Try and work with the dealer and not against them if you follow me. They may just call your bluff if you threaten and just sell your car to someone else.

A ellos se les hace difícil hacer la configuración pq no todas las extras están disponibles para latinoamerica, entonces de eso depende el tiempo en obtener precio, deben estar apenas preguntando q paquetes están disponibles, pero un precio de $75mil por un carro de esos ya me parece un toque pasado. Sinceramente, yo pensé en los paquetes de extras (quería un California Special) pero la verdad es que para este país no vale la pena, así que con costos los aros y el comfort pack (por las playaditas de las luces de caballito) fue lo que pedí. Ya si lo que quiere es poder!!!! mejor lleguele a un BOSS de una vez o le saca los ojos al mae q tiene el GT500 en Escazu y se trae uno de los nuevos
Por otro lado, se que el carro lo ordenaron el 2 de Marzo (dia en que fabrica les autorizo empezar a ordenar 2013) y el gerente de ventas me dijo que por ahí de tres semanas duraría en tener el VIN asignado, así que como dijo Tania.... haciendo Yoga y sesiones de meditación para que no me desespere. Ahi la otra semana a finales llamo a ver como va todo. Ya se como se vería el carro pq es exactamente igual al gris convertible q sale en todas las fotos, solo q coupe, asi que por ese lado estoy tranquilo.

Bueno entonces al parecer es que simplemente le están aplicando el precio nuevo del 2013 porque salió un poco mas caro cuando anunciaron los precios finales ahora a finales de enero. Yo para ese momento ya había negociado sobre el precio anterior, de hecho me dijeron q iban a salir por dentro con el precio que me habían dado. En realidad el descuento no fue mucho pq el precio de lista que tenían era de $57500 para ese momento, ah y se me olvidaba yo pague los aros por aparte $2000, mira ese detalle si se me había ido.

Its still only $500 bud. It was $1,000 for a few days back in late January and it changed on Feb 3rd. If anyone's car was ordered before the change, they can get the $1,000, if not, its minimum $500 unless Ford raises it (which I don't see them doing right off the bat).

Its a bunch of bull**** if you ask me. I already got ****ed on the $1000 rebate just cuz i ordered A DAY LATE!

I think that if you voice your concerns to your dealer they will take the steps needed to secure your offer. If you go in there pouting and threatening I'd guess they aren't going to do much for you. The same thing happened to a bunch of us last year when the plant shut down for a week and then they had several quality holds and everyone's car was sitting on a ramp in flat rock. You just have to deal with it. What's ironic is because of that hold my black car sat outside for over a month completed and once it arrived to me the paint had about 300 blemishes on the top surface. After going back and forth and trying several different solutions (short of painting) they agreed to buy the car back. So here I sit over a year since I placed my order on the 2012 and I still don't truly have the flawless new car I've been paying for for the last ten months. Kinda makes your "possible" issue seem like not such a big deal huh?

Patience is a virtue, especially when buying a car. The best way to do this is to be on top of everything ford has going, including incentives. People like Jeff and Brian are invaluable on here for that. Also, sometimes bad things happen. That's where patience comes in. Besides, as going for broke pointed out, someone else always has it worse.who knows, if you're mature and understanding about all of this, your dealership might reciprocate and you may find things better off than you realize. Tell them about placing your order one day too late, maybe they can work a private offer for you. Never know until you try, but going in with a head of steam will only make you angrier and will only make them less amenable.

I really hope the track pack gt's are not going to be delayed until May. If so I am going to cancel my order. Between the massive bs cluster with the local dealership clowns, order delay, and loss of the private cash I really don't think Ford deserves my business. I might just start looking for a used Nissan gtr. Plus it would be nice to have a car that's not only worth 40% after 3 years.
