Is it too late to order a 2012??? I saw someone posted in a thread that they got their order in Saturday but maybe they meant saturday the 7th?

I read somewhere the order books close on the 12th

I am looking for a 2012 Black GT (might consider Kona) base model 6mt with 3.73's as only option (might consider a couple other options if needed but prefer to not get premium due to the cost).

I REALLY want to get one because of the 3750 discount total between rebate and brochure.

One local dealer I emailed found a black california emissions car (not sure how it ended up by me?) but otherwise exactly what I want for $25,389!!

With tax/title license it comes out to $27,841 which seems to be the cheapest I can get.

Only problem is he said it "may" not be available (would have been nice if he called the dealer to actually CHECK). This is ironically also the SAME car he quoted me on 4 months ago...so it concerns me the same car has been sitting on a lot for 4-? months.

Can either of you do a search for me?

I am in dekalb IL 60115. I am willing to drive up to two hours if needed as transferring the car just adds more fees.

Thanks!!! I am stoked to FINALLY get a mustang! I wanted the 2013 but figuring the sticker went up a few hundred I would probably be looking at buying @ 31k OTD so the new taillights, hood vents and 8hp are NOT worth $3,000 to me!

How reliable is the invoice price on various websites cars.com and such. I ordered a 12 GT Base with Brembo and MSRP is 32,200 but invoice is supposed to be 29,729. Just want to get an idea as my salesguy said he would sell me the car at $500 below invoice and the number he gave me is close to invoice, but not $500 under the invoice I found online.

Some of those sites do not ad in the FDAF advertising assessment and the fuel cost to their invoice totals. Both items that are on the invoice and everyone pays. This is about $500 for the FDAF and about $60 for fuel, give or take when the car is invoiced.
