I cannot get my garage door opener buttons to work. I confirmed the transmitter # on Car2U's web site and it's definitely a rolling code transmitter, and I've definitely followed the directions to a tee, but still I am getting nothing.

It's kinda tricky to setup at first, but keep trying and you will get it. Trust me

I went this route instead of paying $400 for visors as well.

I think installing the visors on my 2011 kinda makes it an 2011 1/2, doesn't it? LOL

I agree, you are there. The only other feature, the adjustable EPAS, doesn't seem to change things much either way to me.

Are these part numbers only found on the shelbys?

What are the part numbers for the 2012 mustang gt's? or are they the same part just easier to lookup by the shelby part number?

There are only two different styles of visors with car2U buttons - coupe and convertible. All coupes (V6, GT, Shelby) use one and all convertibles use the other.

I would say if it's a 2012, it has the wiring and you're good to go.

If it's not a '12 you will have to splice.

I installed the 2012 visors on my 2011 convertible last week, had to splice, no big deal. Everything works great. My 2011 visors are available if anyone wants them.

Color code

Its very simple on a 2011 splice into the loop that supplies power to the sync audio (pic) I used electric tape so not to f@ck up the connectors on the visor if I ever find a factory connection piece. It all works great garage door and security gate open and close like butter. Love it. DO NOT CUT THE LOOP IN THE PICTURE. IT SUPPLIES THE POWER TO THE SYNC AUDIO. DO NOT CUT INTO IT. JUST SPLICE INTO IT. DO NOT CUT IT.
Do you know what the color code is on the visors for positive and negative?
