Well it still has a 6k redline...lol.
Anyone else notice that Ford went back to the multifunction switch with the turn signal and wiper controls on the same side. While the 05-09 has the turn signal switch on the left side and the wipers on the right. Looks like it has a spin ****. Must keep costs down. Reminds me of my 97 T-Bird and other older Fords. I may be mistaken though, but thats what it looks like to me.

Oh and does anyone know if the extra click on the head lamp switch is for auto?

wow the newness and excitement is really wearing off. three weeks ago i could not wait for wednesday and now, hell i forgot today was the new teaser. ford needs to get off of their nuts and really excite the masses, i read an article i believe on here where chevy dropped the full reveal from all angles on the camaro in response to ford dropping the first major batch of spy photos. at least before there was a steady flow of spy shots, now it seems to just be stalling.

The concept debuted on January 6, 2006, and the production version is virtually identical. When's the new bodystyle due?

I want that dash pic in 1900 X 1200 goodness for my compy, stat! ![Wink](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
The dash looks on par with the Camaro and ages better than the Challenger.![Headbang](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/headbang.gif)
(Have you even seen the interior of the Challenger? If so, I'd forgive you for thinking you were looking at a Charger interior...

Is it just me or are the past few pics considerably smaller than the previous ones in resolution? Why so small? It makes it hard to have as a background on a high res screen. Poor judgement call on their parts. I want them as large and detailed as the original five release weeks ago. THEY were big! )

Even those were a little small for my screen. Is 2560 x 1600 too much to ask?!
Come on, Ford! Sound off like you got a pair!

The attention to detail and passion of everyone involved with the 2010 Mustang to make it the best ever are evident looking across the beautiful cockpit of America’s favorite muscle car. For 2010, for example, the genuine aluminum trim panels are precisely inset to and fully encapsulated by the soft-touch instrument panel.
“The world-class fit and finish of the aluminum panels and soft-touch IP will be immediately apparent,” says Mustang Chief Designer Douglas Gaffka. “The instrument panel was carefully sculpted out and the genuine aluminum panels were placed within the shape, as opposed to just layed upon it,” says Mustang Senior Designer Robert Gelardi. “This sculptural craftsmanship and inset location means the soft IP is the first touch-point.
“The new ‘dogbone’ shape of the aluminum panels not only reinforces the double-brow design, a critical part of Mustang DNA, but also allows the centerstack display to be placed higher and closer to the driver.”
Incorporating a higher centerstack required a new air register design. “You’ll see a definite family connection to our heritage Mustangs in the 2010 air register design,” says Mustang Design Manager Gary Morales. “The combination of circular and rectangular register shapes is well-represented in Mustang DNA,” adds Gelardi, “but the forms are definitely modern, inspired by exhaust outlets drilled into the aluminum, each capped off with a precisely located chrome ring.”
The genuine aluminum is also present on the modern, yet classic, steering wheel, which is wrapped in leather. “All three spokes are genuine aluminum,” adds Morales, “and there is a special focus on driver comfort. Both the spokes’ shapes and the audio controls
have been ergonomically designed.” Even the steering-wheel badge received special attention. “This badge is genuine stamped aluminum, incorporating the new 2010 pony design,” says Gelardi. “We worked very closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to be certain the features of the pony were sharp and detailed, right down to the mane and eyes.”
“Incorporating both brushed and polished finishes meant achieving the small details was challenging,” adds Morales. “But like everything else on the 2010 Mustang, we wouldn’t rest until it was right.”

Its a PNG file, you may need Photoshop or MS Paintbox to open and save as JPG or BMP for your desktop.

I noticed the controls for the dash information center are on the left under the headlight switch now, instead of in the center stack like they are now. Guess the passenger can't play with them that way, huh? ![Smile](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Also noticed they were listening to Coldplay on the radio when this pic was taken.
Amazing the detail you can see in a 5000 x 3619 picture.
