Thanks again everybody! Exhaust is Solo Performance 3" cat back and their high flow cat pipes. Their exhaust is a mid muffler design with a dual in/dual out case muffler where the mid pipe would normally be. Their muffler actually has an X-pipe inside, so it's kind of a cross between a regular X-pipe and a Mac Prochamber. Then it's straight pipe all the way back, but their axle back includes their patented J-pipe design that comes off the axle back portion (tucks up under the bumper). The J-pipes virtually eliminate drone, but they also make the loudness of the exhaust tunable. I didn't mess with them at all from the way they were shipped. Haven't felt the need to!

Gabe, I don't run the lope tune all the time because sometimes, at low rpm, the car can be a little lurchy if I don't let it warm up thoroughly. It can also stall at very low speed (say going over a speed bump), but that's pretty rare. That said, it basically acts like a big cammed V8 at low speed. Sometimes those nuances are fun, sometimes they're annoying lol. I'm going to leave it on a little longer this time, since I haven't ran that tune in months!

Finally found a decent background for some pics. A lot of them didn't turn out, so they are filtered. #FilterPolice!

They look good! Even though the last shots a little too dark I like it.

Nice looking M151.
They were not made by Jeep, but I can't remember who made them. They are rare in civilian hands, as most were cut into quarters and sold for scrap. The Army thought the independent suspension was to dangerous for roll overs since that is what the thing was famous for in it's service life, so they wouldn't sell them in tact.

"Jeep" wasn't Jeep back then. It was the vehicle's nickname. All kinds of manufacturers produced them during the war, including Ford, *****'s, AM etc...

Lol...no drive though wash and wax for my cars. But it was a easy wax job with the Eagle One Wax as u dry product. Spary it on the wet panels and wipe it dry with the micro fiber towel. Works better than I thought it would. A friend gave me a couple bottles of it a few years back.

Yup. As I recall, they were called general purpose vehicles, or GP, which became Jeep.

Who remembers the Jeep from Popeye? I've heard that there was some connection between the character and the vehicle but not sure what. I also seem to recall that the Popeye Jeep served as inspiration for Kilroy, another WWII icon.

Thanks, and yes there are some fine machines around here, and no matter how good the photos are, to me they always look better driving down the road.

Thanks dude. I'm saving up my pennies for an all around Wilwood brake upgrade, and having the calipers powder coated green to match the paint. It'll really pop behind the black SVE's.
