They are Matte. I was real pleased with the way they turned out. I had been considering the front fender vents. I talked to my body guy, he had some concerns regarding fitment and not wanting to cut on my car, so I let it go. I love them when I see them though.

Her car is only lowered in the rear, with Ford Racing "L" springs.
Ended up being only about 1/4" higher in the rear than the front, sometimes even, depending on how/where it's parked:
