2010-2014 Ford Mustang S-197 Gen II Lets see your latest Pics PHOTO GALLERY
Washed the car last night and brought my trusty camera out to see if I could get better pics than with my Carl Zeiss Lumia 920, but it ended up getting too dark by the time i was done.
Bet it is covered in dust now. I am the same way, I always try to get a nice set of pics after I wash my car because I know it won't stay clean for long, especially since I don't have a garage.
Mine is garaged, but it still collects dust in there, so we'll see. I haven't looked at it yet today. Might go to the track tonight for test and tune wednesdays.
I cleaned the car last night with intention of taking pics but it got too dark. So I went out today and failed miserably. My locations sucked and the camera I wanted to use died after one picture. I guess it doesnt like NiMH batteries or the charger failed me (would be the first time). So I ended up using my Lumia 920 for pics. Welp...there are the only decent shots I got:
Backlight fail
... was too embarrassed to turn the car around and face it the other way

Here is the camera I wanted to use...only got one shot in before I could adjust the settings.

The only one that turned out halfway decent....dat antenna tho

Hey its a beautiful car regardless, altho for a sec i wondered what the heck you have on the top of your antenna lol. just weird with that light pole in the background so close to it.
Like i said gorgeous car, even if you don't like the pics, it shines through

lol thanks guys! Somebody photoshop out the antenna and pole for me!
I haven't taken car pics in a while, so I need to remember to be more aware of what's in the background like light poles and stuff. So hard to find a good location

^ nice shots Alex.
2 things stick out.
That Aston Martin in gray... how did he get away with that license plate. And that's pretty confident. I doubt it ever contributed to his success though. LOL.
That white 5.0 with the scissor doors. Holy Rice Batman. First, you're stock, then have a prop rod for your hood, yet you have scissor doors?

I have a heavy Cervini hood. The MMD hood struts work great as long as I'm not parked front down on a hill, or if the wind ain't blowin' too hard. I've had the struts fail in adverse conditions, so I came up with the following solution.
Simply get yourself a short length of 5/16 fuel line, and cut it to the length of the small strut rod (when the hood is up of course), and slit it length-wise with a razor knife. Then, when you go to a show or car meet, just wrap the fuel line around the strut rod, and it will provide enough support to keep the hood up. Side-benefit - it's black, so nobody will notice it at a car show or meet.

Seriously. As a former smoker myself, I never lit up in a car, not even in the point-a-to-point-b jalopies I had. But in a "nice" car you take to a show... well, it's their rides.
