Factory Engine Cover $$$$$$$$$

Yeah, that was wheel paint I used, but a darker shade of grey. Regardless of color, the valve covers are NOT coming off again. My wife argues that you can hardly see them anyway, and she does have a point, sort of. I'll touch up the scratches and add some decals if I can find a material that'll hold up to the heat, and just match the plenum cover to them. Any idea how to get the pony off? Otherwise, it's getting masked.

I don't have my cover yet to look at for removing the pony, but fishing line will pull off most body emblems. Just work it underneath the pony and pull, basically using the fishing line as a knife to cut the adhesive that holds the pony on. To put it back on, use double sided 3M foam tape, can usually be found at an auto parts store. Hope this helps, good luck.

I just received my cover this week and it is awesome the fitment of the chrome pony is perfect, infact i think that it is all the same plastic housing just that they chrome that area. I dont know if it is removable.

Kevin or anyone else who has received their cover,
What shipping service is used and how long is it generally taking to arrive?
I work at night so I wanna try and make sure I'm awake when the cover gets here in case it has to be signed for. Thanks in advance.

Of course I could have heard Kevin wrong since I had negative reception bars on my cellphone in St Augustine Beach when he called.

Received my plenum cover and hardware from KC today, along with several other goodies I ordered. It looks awesome! Thanks for the great deal on the cover, and the great service, Kevin!
Now I'm sending the cover off to hireman to be custom flamed to match the emblems he did for me. Will post pictures when I get it back and get it installed.

Mine came in yesterday, now to wait for the car to put it on.
Question though for the others that already have it, how does it install? Was surprised to see no screws or anything, how does it stay on?

The cost will probably be in the neighborhood of $150.00-$200.00, depending on the # of colors and the design you choose. That is only a "ballpark" estimate, as Bill estimates his fees by the job.
