Now another question? My Ford shop can get it 7/5/06 but when they emailed Ford to see if it would fit 05-06 models they were told engineering says it will fit models from 6/6/06 to the 07. Then asked about the 05 thru 6/5/06 they said engineering could not confirm it would fit. Another words, they haven't tried it on the earlier models. So, what I get out of this is... let us know if any of you try it on the pre 6/6/06 production model.
BTW my cost from dealer $55, our SVTOA Club gets a discount.

05stagkc, do you know your 06's build date? Was yours built before the 6/6/06? My Legend Lime'r was built in March.

Would you consider the color to be More Tungsten Grey or Mineral Grey....Every pic I see it looks MG. What color does it look like in person?

It depends on the light. In brighter conditions, it looked more silver (a little lighter than tungsten grey). In lower, it looked more toward mineral grey.

Thanks for those pics. That helps. I think it should match Tungsten ok. I was kinda concerned about matching my tube on the JLT which is Tungsten...

If the cover fit that Roush it will fit all 3-V's to date. Most of the time asking an engineer is not going to get the answer your seeking. Most of them drive mini-vans.

In those pictures it looks like the pony isn't chrome and recessed into the cover? It looks like it's just part of the casting!!! Please let us know!!!

Looks like it may mount up slightly different than the Midwest one.

Also wonder if that part # comes with the mounting hardware if any.

HERE IS YOUR COLOR REFERENCE. Just a Tad Darker than the Wheels!
Here you can see the Mounting Area for those of you with [Aftermarket Throttle Body Spacers]. You Would need to Trim this area and make a couple of brackets for use on them.

THESE COVERS WILL REQUIRE SOME SPECIAL BOLTS WHICH FORD HAD NOT CATALOGED. I SHOULD HAVE MORE INFO ON THIS MONDAY. I DO NOT FORSEE ANY PROBLEMS ON USING THIS COVER ON 05/06 MODELS OTHER THAN NEEDING THE HARDWARE. I DO NOT FORSEE THIS BEING VERY EXPENSIVE. I WILL UPDATE P&A on HARDWARE ASAP! BE AWARE IF YOU RIG THESE BOLTS YOU MAY HAVE A INTAKE LEAK OR MAY DAMAGE INTAKE MANIFOLD!

REFERENCE FROM POST 242 on ORDER LIST.

The Covers should be releasing soon. This is an old topic and some have emailed or posted their desire to purchase this cover. I am sure some no longer want this cover and some may have slipped through the cracks as far as being on my list. Also your C/C and Shipping Address info may have changed! At this time the covers are still dirt cheap and I believe they will come with all the hardware. I do not know at this time if it will clear strut braces. Also it is my belief they will be the dark version as shown in the last pic posted. To verify my list and add those who want to order the cover please do the following.

email to clevparts@aol.com

In the Subject Line Put ENGINE COVER ORDER
If you Posted your Desire to order your Cover in Forum please put post #
Please Submit
Name
Shipping Address
C/C Billing Address {indicate if same}
Daytime Phone Number!

I will contact you for C/C Info as or if Needed.

Thanks!
KC

Be Aware I have a Backlog of emails at the Moment and I will answer asap. You Guys are Really Keeping me Hopping!

Ok, for those of us w/ Jet throttle body spacers:

Are you going to modify the engine cover or ditch the TBS? For those who are thinking about modifying the cover, what are your thoughts? Any ideas? Only thing I can come up with is to obviously cut away the front piece that hugs the throttle body then fabricate a thin metal bracket, but not sure how I'll attach it to the Cover itself.

Looks like the front of the cover will also need to be modified if you have changed the throttle body from the stock one.
I have the LFP TB and the front profile isn't the same as the stock one.
