Got two compliments on the Bronco this week. One from a guy I work with who saw it before and after and was amazed. The other from a teenager working the drive thru at Starbucks.

Still waiting on my lift to ship though.

Interior is completely reassembled. 100% done and done.

Only thing to do is recover the seats.

I've got new headliners front and back, new carpet front and back, all panels have been repainted and reinstalled. Everything looks really good. Used alot of dynamat and some good old fashioned wall insulation in the cargo area to try to make it as quiet as possible when those new tires make noise on the highway someday.

I gotta say it was a PITA and I spent an untold amount of hours doing this work. But I think it might be worth it now. Pics soon. I need to vacuum and clean it up first.

Insulation. That stuff wreaks havoc on me. Even a little contact with it leaves me scratching myself like a flea infested meth head on a 10 day binge.

I just wear gloves when handling it. I spent two years of my life installing insulation in houses. It was probably the worst job I ever had.

What did you use for insulation? Dynomat works great and is alot easier to work with than normal insulation.

I used dynamat under the carpet and in the sidewalls. The panels behind the back seat where the 'bed' of the truck is has plastic panels with at least 3-4" deep openings in them. Probably about 50" long or so. I used R-13 fiberglass that is actually encased in a lightweight plastic and resealed the cut ends. So basically the fiberglass inside is sealed inside plastic and then hidden behind the wall. It works great. I thought it was pretty clever. Also helped with the plastic panel rattling.

Nothing new to report. It's my daily driver so I can't very well pull the suspension apart.

I'll get into it after the Raptor arrives.

Thanks Scothew. Only took a year to pick them out.

I hate all the new style truck wheels with the big stars and what looks like black plastic. I guess I'm just getting old.

I approve on those wheels

I'm with you on new wheel designs for trucks. They look so meh. Too much unnecessary lines and crap on them.
