I like the pushbars on the 87-91. And if it were a truck I'd be doing things a little different. But this is nothing but a pure off roader. It needs lights and the baja bar is the best solution for me.

I don't have any more pics. I'm just going on gut that it will look right. We shall see.

She still needs a hood though.

When my kids get old and ask me where their college funds went, I'll point at 2 Mustangs, a Bronco, and a Raptor and smile. Then I'll tell them to work their way through college like I did.

Hey now, I have always been a fan of the baja style light bar. It just seemed you wanted one of the big heavy duty things.

Well. Since I don't have a small *****. At least I don't think I do. I took Lee's advice and went with a smaller bumper.

Is it just me or does every guy under 5'6" tall drive a F350 SD Crew cab with an 8' bed, 6" lift kit, and 35" tires.

I guarantee that if I see a guy around here get out of a truck like that, there is no way he's over 6' tall.

Do you think they have to carry their own step ladder?

Around here they all have a Dodge Ram with a HEMI, cuz the HEMI makes it 30" longer

No all the ones around here are kids under 21 driving crew cab 6.0L f-250 fx4's with 6" of lift, 20" wheels with 35" tires on it. Not to mention a paint job so clean it screams "Ive never been in dirt!"

Man I have to get a pic of the one a buddy at church put on his 98 tahoe z71.. he's got a 3" lift, nice tires and wheels and this bumper that you could take out an M1 abrams with. Its custom made, and super nice, but overkill for a 1/2 truck. Id love it on my 1/2 ton but mine acctually goes in the woods so it would serve a purpose. Granted, id have to add helper springs or something to the front to level the truck out again. 89/11 front to rear weight ratio with this thing seems like.

Well the Bronco no longer has it's pin stripes at the top crease or at the rocker crease. Plus I've removed the fender emblems. Almost finished patching the tailgate too.

From the looks of things the driver door was repainted once. Not sure why, but from thr bottom stripe up the paint was new and the pin stripes weren't nearly as stuck as on the rest of the truck. I've looked it over and that appears to be it.

there's some idiot kid running around here with a gigantic F250, lifted way up with one of those dumb CB antenna whip things, and a windshield banner that says "Dixie 'Normous" - I laugh everytime I look at it.

**** Gary, you are really going to town on that thing. Looking great!

I love those 10 hole rims, and I think the ones in the rear look great w/o the center caps.

Thanks everyone.

Zoran-It's kind of like building models when I was a kid. Only its 1:1 scale.

I had to make that pod area where it sticks out on the door panel for the window and lock buttons.

I glued 3 2x4s together with gorilla glue then I proceeded to sculpt them to the shape they have now. Then I hollowed them out to accept the parts then wrapped them in vinyl and mounted them.

Only things is the pinsrtipes on top left behind some ghost lines that is not from glue. I guess its from being on there for 15 years. Maybe it'll buff out.

New bumpers arrive tomorrow. I'll get them fitted ASAP.

Then I plan to get the dash back in and get the truck down to the Line-X guy and have the rockers sprayed, the bumpers, and teh top. I'll get them to tint the windows while its there. Then get everything back and assemble. At that point with exception of wheels/tires and lift, the exterior appearance should be done.
