Well looking at Volkswagen sales, I guess they're even less interested in European design.

 

Auto Express rarely gets it right.

They've been telling us that a new Capri is coming for a least 4-5 years now.

 

Pretty close if the leak from the Fusion app is to be believed.

 

I hate the way Auto Express report stuff like it's official. That IS NOT the new Mondeo. It's a Photoshop of what they think it might look like. Probably close, but their style in reporting is misleading.

 

I disagree that "American" has to equal "retro box look" in all cases. Evos to me has a modern, American style. Taurus too has a look that's both sleek and muscular, very American modern IMO.

 

Well, I hope it's real close to the Mondeo and Fusion cause I love it.

 

Found out Detroit is only 5 hours away from where I live. (I'm fairly new to Chicago.) So I decided that I'm taking a road trip next Friday. Can't wait to see the Fusion in person. Looks awesome.

On these pictures it looks less like Kia Optima, but more like Mitsubishi Lancer.

 

That's funny because that's exactly what I thought when I saw the new Dodge Charger... you know, the car whose picture you posted along with the text, in referring to the 2013 Ford Fusion, "Why can't they design something like this? Just by looking at it you can tell it's the all-American car." You got your wish, man!
