since I got a new jack and some stands, I think the next mods I'll get are the stainless steel bumper inserts, and the MIL eliminators. And I've still got that caliper paint to get on there.

got the fuel filter changed, and the rear calipers painted. Ran out of daylight before I could get the fronts done.
1 old filter (so dirty you could see grit in the fuel)
2 new filter
3 dirty wheel wells
4 dirty wheel
5 finished caliper and cleaned/waxed wheel

Nice!
Couldn't believe the difference in my wheels after I washed them last summer. Insides weren't too pretty though.

I've got some brushes that do a pretty good job getting back there, but nothing like taking them off. The wheels just look so much brighter when the back is cleaned
Mine have rust spots and such inside that won't come off. Hopefully someday I can get some DD black bullitts and get some snow tires for the stockers.

update:
so I had a bit of a belt squeal last week, after I replaced the belt not too long ago. When I lifted the hood and revved it a bit, I could hear the squal corresponding with the belt tensioner moving. Took it to the shop, and got him to swap that. While we were waiting on the part to come from the store up the street, we took off the other two tensioner pulleys, one had a bearing that was making a noise, and the other one's bearing was nearly completely bad, wouldnt even free spin, so we replaced those two
total cost of 2 pulleys, belt tensioner, and couple hours labor: $150! Gotta love having a cousin as a mechanic!

as much as it pains me to write this, this thread won't be getting anymore updates.
On Valentines Day, 2011, about 545 pm, I was driving to a friend of mine's to help him with his taxes. I was in the right lane of a 3 lane road (2 in one direction). There was a line of cars formed to take a left turn at the light. A lady in a big truck coming the other direction decided she was going to turn left across my lane without looking to see if anyone was coming. I had about 40 ft to spare before hitting her. I got on the brakes hard for about 15 ft of that, but I hit her pretty solid in the right front wheel.
I'm fine, but Sophia will be totalled. The entire front end was mangled, the radiator is shredded, and the motor is several inches rearward of where it should be. From the doors back however, she's appears fine.
I've always said that my car would be wrecked after I washed it. **** if that didnt come true, spent the wonderful day today washing it and cleaning it.
Life's life, and there's nothing you can do about it. So maybe I'll start looking for a newer GT.

Sigh.
Really sorry to hear that David. Glad you're alright though, probably be sore as hell tomorrow.
