**** man I really hate to hear this. I am glad that you walked away from this tragic event. I know it will be hard for you to walk outside and not see her there. Just keep your head up and you will find another one to make some memories with.

 

I have said this many times, but a car is just a car. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that we are all just happy that you and Arin are alright. Cars can be replaced or repaired, but people can't be.

went to check her out for the first time inthe day, was even worse than I previously thought.

 

All that sonic beauty. When you think of her, you have to remember that she saved your life. Had you been in a less of a car, you might not have been there to take those pics.

 

That's a hard lick. How fast were you going? Did they write her a ticket for failure to yield or anything?

 

i calculated it earlier. I was going 30mph, and she pulled out ~30 ft in front of me, so I had .67 seconds to react.


I do feel like she gave her life for me (might be up for making a franken-sohpia tho)


she did get a ticket, and her insurance is paying for everything. The adjuster looked at it today, and wll give us a quote tomorrow. I know what I have to have, so they'll either give it to me, or fix her

 

Efff that. As much as you love the car, I wouldn't want that car fixed. I can guarantee you it will never be "right" again.

 

i do think i want them to just total her and pay me. I'll buy it and keep hold of it. might see about fixing it up down the road.
