so I had quite the scare this morning, thought I'd really f'd it up. I was on my way to work, then hit a bump and started hearing a "hsst hsst hsst hsst hsst" noise coming from under the hood, a loss of power and a shake in the motor. I was worried that I might have done some major damage to the motor somehow. I got to work, looked under the hood, and didnt see anything out of the normal. I looked online and asked a couple people (including a couple of the nutcases from TMS) and finally found that it was a loose spark plug. And by loose, I mean, not even in the head anymore, as you can see, it came right out with the coil pack.
I've got to get my my mechanic so I can take a look at the threads with a scope, but it seems to be fine, whew.

Plasti-dipped the license plate panel. Not the best job ever, but it'll do until I feel like doing it again.
