That makes sense. Still major weak sauce though. The bullitt is gonna stay this way for a bit unfortunately. School has me busy, and the II needs its thermostat stuff done so I can smog it this week, so if I do have any time, thats where its going.

also that money thing... can't seem to find any of it

I swear I really do know how Han Solo feels.

You mean you feel like you have a gigantic slug trying to hang you on a wall whilst you are encased in carbonite, hibernating, and hoping a hotness Princess comes to rescue your sorry buttocks, only to be put right back into action and almost be roasted Ewok chow?

I feel ya, bro. But things will look up. Soon Luke will make Threepio float about and them Ewoks won't eat you. That should brighten your day considerably.

I feel more like Threepio most days myself... paranoid and worried about everything, and not very good at tellings stories unless it's to a buncha Ewoks.

Yeah that about sums it up lol. Turns out the smog is actually due in a few weeks, so I can have time to finish the thermostat job on there no prob.

As far as the bullitt, the weld in option seems to be gaining support, so as soon as I have time I'll be taking that front end apart again for the millionth time. Hopefully there is no imperial sabotage to blame.

finally time for an update. Took the car down to a local place, They quoted me 300 to reinstall the ball joint, tac weld both sides and install the hubs I have sitting in the trunk..

Unfortunately it looks like the process of popping out, being driven a few blocks home and being loaded onto a tow truck have damaged the old one beyond repair. which is a double PITA since you can only get X2s by the pair, but hey, at least I'll have a spare (and bust mad rhymes) Got them shipped overnight from AM, so hopefully I'll have my car back this weekend

The good guys autocross really got me stoked, and honestly barting all the way to millbrae, or bumming a ride to get groceries was getting pretty old.

not quite yet. the plan was to do them the weekend following the hub work, until I found out about the X2 popping out

Hopefully I can do that this weekend, provided the car is back to me. Thats why I was curious as to what you had set your rear to, to use as a baseline

Dig it!! The neutral setting worked darn well during the rally. I may adjust after I try an Auto-X sometime this season. Going to do some routine maintenance in the coming weeks too.

Got the car back still makes some noise driving around, but only when coasting/decel. I'm starting to think theres some brake stuff going on. I never did loctite my calipers, thats next on the list.

But man, i missed that bullitt noise also driving a car with measurable torque lol.

what!?!? an update?!?! GASP

Finally installed my Steeda (i think.. cant remember and got it used) front swaybar today. Didn't get around to the rear adjustable one since we didn't have a drill on hand. I don't mind the extra understeer/push the car has though. I'll probably have more to say after driving it a while. Pete helped out with the install while we also helped a friend with a 96 cobra. was a pretty fun day overall. I don't even think we broke any cars this time

Also, recently my turn signals/brake lgihts/hazards stopped working. The green arrows don't even light up on the dash. I also found out today that the cruise control stopped as well. Anyone ever had these issues? I haven't pulled the fuses to check yet, but I don't know if its fuses or if its something else. Anyone have any light to shed?

Would you and Pete be willing to help me plumb my k-member and reinstall my bump steer kit? Whoever installed it on this car, did not plumb the k-member and it's shifted to the passenger side, and the bump steer kit was installed upside down...

good find dude!

Start by checking the fuses, then try issolating the circuit that's givving you a hard time. Mine did something similar and it was the power seat. Got rid if it since it was FURB anyways

I want to say there is something in the column that causes that when it shorts out.

went to O'reillys, picked up a flasher unit, installed it and it did nothing. Did notice that it was not the same as the bright yellow unit that was already on the car though.

I might just go ahead and order the raxiom slow flasher for sequentials atthis point. None of my engine bay fuses looked blown. I've heard of an interior fuse box as well, does anyone know where it is/if there is a relevant fuse there?
