But speaking of not-stock, I found a purchased but never installed rear swaybar on a local boarde again and the guy even threw in a set of EV6 19lb injectors for free. Apparently these cars have EV1s. Only issue is a few of the Orings are missing so I'll have to find those somewhere, but from what I've read this is a pretty cool upgrade. Anyone know where I can find these o rings?
He said I could just plug and play, but I wonder if it needs or could benefit from any more alterations to my tune. I guess I should just email bama, but does anyone know offhand about that?
in any case, not a bad day. I did notice some bubbles in the pinstripe of plastidip. I will continue to monitor it and see how it holds up do being driven all for future users reference.

Its amazing what you can do with all the crap you've accumulated over the years 
The other day I was at my parents place and my cousin and I were digging through some of my old stuff in the garage and found a bag of assorted chrome emblems and badges and things. Among them were, technically, the first mustang parts I'd ever owned, but also an old ford oval I'd taken from some junkyard, who knows when.
I also found a broken magazine for one of my airsoft guns, and since it was styled to be two mags clamped together (for maximum tactical
) I used the metal of the mag clamp to create a bracket of sorts, that clamps on to the two extruded cylinders in the grill upright (dont know what they're actually called..)
anyhow, the result is this:

James- you make a good point. I think it might look even better with a larger emblem.
It also got me thinking about the front of the Falcon. I wonder how close in size their bumper covers are

Well it turns out falcons are only .4" wider than a new edge. So that's promising, but nevermind that for now. I also got the car aligned finally. Good thing I haven't really needed to drive it much what with winter break and all. Firestone also saiid that my front pass wheel bearing is going bad. I replaced them before with free used parts I was given, but its probably time to put a fresh one one there.
On a completely different front, I've managed to mount my nexus in a removable way. When the bracket/nexus is not there, it is almost impossible to notice there is a bit of velcro below the climate controls because of where it is compared to eye level.
The best part is it works really well with the case I've been using lately, so I can transition seamlessly from nexus to mustang
I could probably even use the same bracket in the II
anyhow:
Other than the bright redness of the case, Pete did say it looks a bit cumbersome. I'm gonna drive around and see how it holds up/in place tomorrow. As well as maybe try putting some vecro right on the back of the nexus itself, so that it sits farther in, rather than poking out just a bit. The case added some that i stupidly didn't think about lol

In any case my car is a spaceship now. drove around a bit today and played with the torque app. It has an INSANE amount of functions/tools/things to monitor. It also lets you setup multiple dashes, just like the desktop of the tablet. I have one to measure various accelleration figures, one to monitor engine sensors, one for Gs and roll, and another for economy.
Highly recommend it for anyone who has a device you can use in your car. It does require the bluetooth obd adapter, but even including the cost of that and the software, its still about $20 to get a metric asston of data (it also has the option of displaying in imperial asstons)

The other day I was driving back from livermore and heard a pretty severe clunk as I exited. I limped home extremely slowly, and parked the car. Went out today to install the brand new parts and as I was backing the car out a few feet to jack it up I noticed the front wheels were not both pointing in the same direction.
Turns out the Steeda X2 I had pressed in by a shop has popped itself out of the pressed fitting. after a few solid minutes of "WTF" and other choice vocabularies, reparked it. Pete said hes heard of this happening before, and that people have them pressed in and tac welded in place. Anybody have any direct experience with this situation? This could have happened while I was still on the freeway and that is terrifying to me.

I've heard a lot of people having a very loose fit when they are put back in since the hole gets stretched when the old ones are pressed out. On Corral and Corner-Carvers I have seen that complaint. I would have to assume there is a lot more force being applied to the ball joint when coil-overs are used as well.
