If we don't figure out what it is, I'm going to see if my shop will give me a diagnoses, so at the very least I know what to fix. We shall see.
I'm betting its the ball joints... that's seriously the only thing I can think of causing a clunk up front. As for the brakes, the pads may have gotten loose and are moving around in the caliper? Again.. very little could make that clunking noise from the brakes...

Hmm, I think my car makes the same sound when I make a hard stop, I researched it about a year ago, but I can't remember what i ended up thinking it was, U joint I wanna say, gawd I can't remember. Something transmission related..... Dammit I can't remember but if I do, I'll be sure to let you know.

I'm not sure if the clunk is the brake, it seems to be just that it goes off when the car is under the strain of braking. I will definitely check out those ball joints though.

I meant to ask if you went through with it since I saw the guy say that they were sold. Glad you got it!

I don't really need to call. I was just going to say that if you wanted the control arms you gave me, you are welcome to them. I just bought a set of x2 ball joints from AM so I don't need them. Might solve the problems you're having to swap the ball joints in.

Hmm.. that might actually be a good idea. we can take a look at what mine look like when I'm down there. I'm going to go check and see that it isn't the hubs again, just in case the secondhand ones I had have also been ruined

In trade, should it be necessary, I will offer popeyes

Most tubular A arms come with ball joints... but that would also require coilovers, and that is a lot of money to replace a ball joint. haha.

Yeah if mine are bad right now, these could be just what i need to make the shakes go away

but i would like some tubulars someday

mostly because I don't think people say tubular enough anymore

Arin are you running the 03-04 Cobra A arms?

I'm just curious about them. I'm thinking of getting these for my Notch. I've got some sn95 A arms now not sure often are 94-95 or later. Apparently the later ones widen the track 3/4" each side. And the 03-04 Cobras provide more room for tires. Of course my dream would be to also run some tubular a arms but like Pete said that requires coilovers and that's some coin there.

Not sure where I want to go from here. I really only want to do it once since I should keep the car forever.

Yeah I'm running termi ones right now. That was one of the first mods me and pete did to this car

I'm not sure how different they are from the 94-95s. Though I do know that the only difference between the termi ones and the ones i had on my bullitt stock was better balljoints. I'm not sure if the bushings are better.

Definitely do it on the notch, the improved turning radius alone will be worth it

Tell you what, the day that happens, you'll be the first one on the list

The notch's exclusivity factor would go through the roof. Not many mustangs out there have parts that were attached to vehicles that Arin has crashed

I still need to see what its like without a passenger's dead weight on board, but man she pulls hard now

Why are you driving around with dead passengers in your front seat?! I know the Mustang trunk is small, but you're just begging to be stopped!

The passenger was alive until the sheer power of the 91 Race tune scared them to death

don't worry though, I ditched the body. Cars light as a feather now

You should keep the upper half so you can keep using the commuter lane.
