trust me guys, if i had spare cash to build these cars, id be doing it. ive still got my spreadsheets of what to do to each car, i unfortunatley dont have the 20K i need lol. my bike broke down and i didnt even have money to fix it. i got ir tunning with carb cleaning and work. i think i spent like $6 getting it working again haha. took apart the carbs (and actually learned a fair bit about them too) cleaned and repaired them (the last person to tinker on the right carb royally screwed some things up. parts from other carbs... resourceful, but not ideal), replaced the gasket that protects the alternator, found the main oil leak and tightened the starter gear cover down and fixed some GASP LECTRICALS! it broke down again the next day and i pushed the 400+lb thing home a few miles, up hill at that. i gave up, went back after lunch and tried it on a disappointed hope and it roared to life. still no idea why, but we went on a nice ride through the mountains with some friends and took a hike afterwards. the bike held up the whole way and i still dont know why. it was actually the our group rode together since winter break. that just happened this week but no ones interested in bikes here so i bleehhed :P ironically it was the first time i tinkered sans manual and it actually worked.

anyhow, my money priority is the II right now. it wont be finished anytime soon but my #1 goal is to get it running and on the road. since i live farther away and cant bring a tinker toy this big to berkeley, im planning on having the shop do it. they do good work and do it cheap. they fixed the II's badly done motor swap, made me new mounts, trans Xmember, trans mounts, full exhaust, new C4 transmission, made it work with the AOD megashifter and tuned her up for less than the old shop chargged me for the badly done swap in the first place. when the II broke down at the local mustang show a few years ago, they repaired the starter for free. they never even worked on my **** starter lol

its slow and not very steady, but its gonna happen, dont you worry my buddy parked his SUV at home and brought his M coupe back up, so we're spending more time doing car stuff, but its typically just a good drive. i did take the bullitt down to socal and back again, but my mpg wasnt the 33 it was last time. i hit 40K miles on it on the I5. so i'm thinking of getting new plugs, cleaning the air filter, cleaning it out and getting the dead weight out. it could use an oil change too methinks. all that should really freshen the ol horse up.

also all those who doubt my wisdome will be

Yeah, he's still got it. It was sitting for a little while when he did a lot of his bike stuff, but it isn't gone.

Nice to hear the plans bud

And contrary to popular belief, some of us are interested in bikes! That'll be a nice II when it gets running, so good luck with it! Have you found a job to fund all that, or is it student loans and god knows what else you do for money? lol
