The Ford appearance package bezel is too expensive! Does the Roush bezel for the automatic also work with the 5 speed manual? Does anyone have the Steeda bezel? I'm looking for options if anyone can help me out. I need alittle bling for my console.

 

I have the UPR one that I bought off someone here, but I did not drill holes to install it. I cut the screws off and glued them in the holes and installed it with double stick tape.

On a side note,why is UPR's so freakin thick???

 

I didn't ever really notice it being thick. It fits good.

Rich, no the Roush Auto bezel will not fit. I found out the hard way even after the Roush rep said it was universal. Had to send it back and get credited.

I do have the Steeda bezel (no logo) and I like it. I wasn't sure at first because I have the satin MGW cup holder and E-Brake handle and it is not a 100% match but overall it is fine IMO. No access to pics to upload at the moment but you can see the thickness from the side in my shifter video.

It's not polished but it is a bit on the shinny side (not like chrome or polished). Those are also Steeda ***** in the video which are a match to the Bezel.

 

The Ford Bezel was over $200 when I priced it. It is not just the bezel but actually is the leather boot. I don't remember if the **** is there but it was something that could not be purchased as a single unit.

$200.00 ??? Now that's a rip-off. I popped mine off to remedy a sweak problem. It's nothing more than cheap painted plastic. That's insane!

 

Yea it was something crazy like that. The price wasn't from KC, it was from my local Ford dealer so I am sure it was marked up even more.

 

Here's mine I just got today from Laurel Mountain Mustang.19.95.Looks identical to the one @ Mustang Depot.Like the CS one from Ford, but 179.00 is too much for what it is.

 

Is it just the trim ring or did it include the boot? I ordered one from Mustang Depot for $19.95 and if it looks that good I'm going to be happy.

 

Just the trim ring, no boot.It attaches over the original boot w/3M tape.I wanted the Ford one also, but no bad enough to pay their price.

 

FYI for anyone who is looking into buying a shifter bezel for their manual trans car. I recieved the bezel from Mustang Depot today and the product is top notch and made by Scott Drake. Best $20 mod that I ever did to my car.
