Seat Removal with Airbag
I'm going to be replacing my Skipper 500 this weekend and want to run my amp cable under the carpet, but my passenger seat has a side airbag in the seat. Once the battery cable is removed will there be any problem pulling the seat or is there a special procedure for powering down the airbag system? ANyhelp would be appreciated.

Why do you want to run your amp cable under the seat?
I just ran mine along the passenger door (under the carpet), right next to the seat.
All I had to do was pop out the little guard on the door that says Mustang. There's quite a bit of room there.

Bales of room everywhere in this car. I replaced my factory single disc headunit with a Sony CDXF7700, with an MD changer and XM radio chasiis int the trunk-along with a 10" sub enclosure, needless to say I have power and signal cables running up and down both sides of the car with no problem.
Also, A little heads up, there is a rubber grommet down low on both sides of the dash bulkhead with a "nipple" that you can trim back and route your power cable through. All you need to do is pull off the repective wheel (RH or LH) and remove the wheel housing to access-it really makes the install neat and clean!
