Thank you!

I had typed a pretty long response regarding something else we are looking at doing, but I had to delete it for the time being... just a cool add-on we're considering to our current kit. More info as it becomes available.

I'm glad you found the instructions accurate. I hadn't heard much feedback on them yet for the 05-09 cars, which normally means we did our job, but it's good to hear it went well for you.

If you had green, I would be all over it. Why not make the button face itself removeable after unscrewing the bezel ring and offer interchangeable button face covers of different colors for additional $$$. You would pick the color you want when you purchase the button, then could buy additional faces of whatever color you guys offer for extra $$$. Just a thought. Looks real good though.

You'd better get all over it then... We just received them into stock.

We'd offer it like you're suggesting, but we don't make the button "in-house" so we have to order only one color at a time. We do pre-stage the kit semi-assembled for the 2010+ cars because of the option levels, but 05-09 is pretty much assemble and ready to go.

We don't have a forum discount at this time, especially since these are priced lower than the non-illuminated ones, but we do have the green in-stock and ready to ship The picture of the green one is in a LL drop-top, imagine that... I was initially against the green from a inventory control point of view, but it's not too bad, so we've got some in to see if there is enough interest in them to justify keeping them available.

Ok, so i started the install but i ran in to a snag trying to remove the HVAC controls, Specifically the connector with the locking "swing arm" step 5, figure 3 per the instructions (gray and black in color) and must be accessed from behind the pass side dash ..........I can see it plain as day , but have no clue how to release it before i disconnect it? I can see it but im afraid of breaking it to get it out.....Humm and naturally i start this later then expected and have no support. Grrrrr!

Alright, good that you got it. Rainy weekend here in FL, so we'll be checking in via Internet occasionally in case you have any more issues.

Ok, Overall install went pretty good! My biggest issues were not being familiar with removing the interior panels, clips on plug-ins etc..., Now after looking back, It took ME longer then it should have but that's my fault because I"m a Thinker and also very meticulous. Great product from SilverHorseRacing ! Very Happy with the quality and instructions/Support!! I also installed the trunk release which is another great product!! I will post a couple pictures, But my hats off to SilverHorseRacing for these great products! Very Happy customer here!

Thanks!

Question for you - did you paint the bezel around the switch or is it just the photo? Looks like a red bezel on a red switch which is a cool custom touch.

I myself wouldn't spend that much? ($599.00-$699.00) But All i was wanting was a illuminated push button start to dress up the dash VS the stock plug in, Looks like that set up has the passive key etc... It would be very hard for me personally to justify spending that much money for that.

It would be hard to justify a push button when I still have to put the key in the ignition.

I considered Digital Guard Dog but then I found this...

http://www.gallotech.com/keyless-starter1.php

It's much cheaper at $379.

Digital Guard Dog's equivalent system (2GO-PBS~PKE/ALM) would cost ya $699.

I'm going to pull the trigger soon.
