Hiding, but not for long - had some outside contract work come in, and we're still waiting on one of the three finishes to come back from finishing anyway.
It's been busy around here this year - a good thing !!

Kidding aside, you wouldn't want to come here right now though, the Space center is about to do a major layoff that is going to hurt the local economy something fierce. Luckily we do not depend on the local economy for too much, but it will still be felt by everyone... something like 5-9k workers are going away, and until the next generation spacecraft is decided upon, it will be rough going for local businesses that rely on local money to keep their doors open. I can only imagine what the real estate at the north end of the county is about to do...
The last finish still has not come back (ugh...) so we're still waiting on them to be returned so we can get on assembly and get everything ready at once.
On the flip side, we have have been quite busy around here lately with contract work for other companies as more "job shops" continue to fall victim to the economy. It's bad for them, but is keeping us busy with production that will allow us to continue to be able to make new products long-term.
Speaking of which... need to call our shirt supplier and see where that new artwork is at...

Yes we do, no we can't show them yet. Sorry, that's just how we have to be with new products now, there's threads running around showing what happened when we used to show off new products before they were "on the shelf" and ready to ship...
That said, what we've done for the 2010+ cars I think people will really like.

Define that - do you mean will you be able to bypass the key? The answer is no, because you have to contend with the steering wheel interlock, and most people don't want to go playing with that. So the key will still be required to unlock the steering.
just start the car, or stop/start, lighting options, lighted until the car is running then goes off.......
You know, I'll look at that, thanks. It's an issue with where would it look good as much as anything else with them, but I've got access to a 2000 for fitment work in the family that I'll check on it for you. Obviously it could be adapted, but would it look "right" or not would be the real question.

2nd gen door handles and A/C ***** are already drawn up for 94-04 cars - we have just been too busy with contract work around here lately to get them on the machines. It's a good problem to have, but a problem nonetheless. We're not ready to commit to another full shift, so until we do that or get caught up, it's just in the "hold" pattern.
The sad part is we are busy with outside work because so many other private manufacturing shops are just "gone". There are winners and losers in every economic up and down, I just don't like that we're doing good because so many others have not in recent times. I liked it better a few years back when everyone could "share in the prosperity" and not share in the "sacrifice" like it seems is currently being touted... but that's another discussion for a different thread. I just visited a friend's shop the other day, they are actually selling off their machines to keep the doors open, not a good business plan. I'd buy one to add to our capability, but they are not one of the brands we like / use here.
