Anybody know if there's a dash kit that has a 1/2 DIN slot under the regular slot for the head unit. I need a spot to mount an equalizer. The kit I had for my previous vehicle had a slot for the head unit and a smaller slot below it for an EQ. It came with a cover for the smaller slot for folks who didn't have an EQ.

All the one's I've seen from Metra and Schoshe have a pocket under the head unit.

 

You may have to do something a bit more custom for that. I've never seen anything like that, unfortunately. Good luck though!

 

I'm sure you can do something custom by starting out with the insert. Just carve out what you don't need and mod in some sort of method to secure the equalizer.

There are also some head units with pretty good equalizers built-in. I think you might also be able to install the equalizer near your amp (if you are getting one).

 

Good luck finding that. I would also recommend fabricating something. Maybe something with L.E.D's or Base Control **** on the unit itself. JMO. I've always been into lighting up the interior. Keep us posted
