if they are inserts, and if they are inserted with 3M sticky tape, I would not use it, I bought a interior package for my '02 that made a lot of the instruments look brushed alluminum, cost me 250 bucks and it was cheap 3M sticky material that almost all the inserts fell off the inside wherever I put them, I'd check into it more.....

OK folks...Here we go. First off be patient with the pics. I took the "noinsert" pics during the day and the 'insert" pics at night...I will take some more tomorrow in the daylight. But with the latest IUP news, Im sure alot of you are waiting to see how these look. Anyway, First a couple of standard , no IUP interior shots....

They make a HUGE difference Like I said I will post some day pics tomorrow, the night pics don't do it justice. As for the install...very easy. Just a bit of patients and for-thought. I lined all the pieces up and had spacers organized before I actually stuck them on. It took me about 15 min. to do!! And my total cost was $135.00. Not bad if ya ask me. If I would have waited for the IUP... Id still be waiting....and waiting for a while from what Im reading!!! The Mycolor dash gimmick did nothing for me so for me this was the way to go!!! Im VERY happy with this!!!

That looks really nice. You did a fantastic job lining it up. How do the panels fasten to the dash ?

Looks great!!! Couple of questions though.

1) did you do the door handles too?
2) I cant tell from the picture, but did you cover the air vents too, or do you know if there is a piece to?
3) does the color and texture of the aftermarket panels match the color and texture of the actual IUP panels?

thanks

i just wish there was an insert for the door jam and one for the vents.

Not sure what you're referring to when you talk about the "vents"?

I gotcha, the plastic vent flaps, right? I'll keep a look out, but you might have to order those from Ford parts, prolly expensive?
