VVME HID Kit Installation Problems
Could be since it's so close to Christmas they sold more than they were ready for and are out of stock?
I know that's happened with quite a few websites I like to shop on.

Ok, so new problem: Tonight the passenger side HID flickered before coming on after the driver's side one did, then it stayed on for a 30 min drive I made. About two hours later the passenger side HID did not come on at all and now only the driver's side works. I checked all the wiring and nothing seems out of sorts, all the connections look good. Can anyone offer any suggestions or help?
Ok all so for the tragic and bitter end of the VVME story read my first post here: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=75823
The short version is that I would not and will not ever recommend VVME to anyone. Good luck to all those running their kits.

Luckily for me my VVME's I installed on my wifes car have been issue free and work great. They've been on for almost a year I think.
I installed a set of VVME's on my GT a few days ago and no real issues at all. Not sure I like the bi concept as it really doesn't look much different on hi vs low beam but the majority of time when I drive at night its all low beam. And the low beams are so friggin bright now that I don't miss hi beams.
I did adjust the HID's down a bit to ensure I wasn't blasting folks between the eyes with them

The 08 HIDs will cost about $1000+ for the two assemblies. I am unsure if that includes the D3R capsules, ballasts, etc... The capsules can cost upwards of $240 each.
Last I heard, the assemblies are direct-fit for the 05-07 Mustangs, but the headlamp harness requires an adapter because Ford mirrored the connectors. The wiring is not an issue since the ballast and high-beam solenoid appear to run off +12 VDC.
