Bypassing DRL

I know this may be a shot in the dark, but does anyone know if there is a way to bypass the DRL? I know if I want to disable them I would have to go to the dealer and get the SJB reprogrammed and that is out of the question since I live in Canada.

I just want to bypass the DRL because I want to retrofit a HID kit and use something else as my DRL.

Could anyone suggest anything or does anyone know if this is even possible?
A relay of some kind perhaps?
I was also thinking of disconnecting the Ebrake switch wires but Im guessing that would do more harm then anything else.

Rant removed.

Seems there is no point since no one cares about anyone here.

Funny cause a lot of you complain this place is dead. I wonder why.

Well you are asking for help on how to violate a law also it may not be something anyone knows how to do since DRL is only really common in Canada.

Repost a new thread and start with a question. Leave any extra comets off and someone will help you with an answer.

Technically speaking, but the OP said he is still going to run DLR. And how many times does someone ask how to get around TPMS or smog their car without cats? Isn't that the same thing?

And I've read multiple threads on folks that want to turn of their DLR from cars that have come out of Canada and other foreign countries. I'm sorry OP, but the only way I've heard about folks getting rid of DLR is by reprogramming.
