It's the Trufiber prototype, not one of the production hoods according to the car owner.

Not bad. A guy over at stangsunleashed just got a Super Snake hood painted and I still like it more than the KR hood, but the KR hood looks good.

No way I like the look of the California Dream hood better with this body style or the KR hood looks pretty good too !

You know Rob, I'm almost as interested in seeing how this hood looks on your Go Vert as I am on my own car. It can only elevate that already gorgeous ride another notch...

Thanks very much,

I’m anxious to get it on the car along with the GT500 rear bumper.

I have been torn between the stripes/no stripes thing as well as the option of doing the Roush Roadster paint scheme on the car or just leave it all GO. Way too many ideas and only 1 car.

The only problem with striping this hood is that the vents are a lot bigger and the stripes won't fit neatly between them like the real KR...unless you go narrow.

I spoke to Phil again this evening. The hoods didn't come in due to the container being stopped by customs. If I understand the situation right customs has the container and should have released it tonight, or tomorrow. Phil said they should release it at any time. I guess this is normal................I'm not sure how cuatoms works.

The vents on the Trufiber KR hood are much bigger than the real KR? Sure did not look that way from the photos posted by TF. Or were you comparing to the SS hood?

No I mean the real KR hood, not the SS. Take a look at these 2 pics and compare:

Notice that the real KR hood louvers are narrow enough to fit the stripes down the middle with room to spare. On the yellow car, the louvers are bigger and more square...and stripes would have to be cut to fit between them

It's hard to compare those two pics since they are at different angles. The pic of the Shelby isn't a real photo, but does seem to be a good representation of the real car. I do see what you are saying, and I agree that the Trufiber hood vents are larger, but I don't think they are that much larger than the Shelby hood.
