TRUFIBER HOODS for Those with GT500 front Fascia!

Trufiber have received many inquires regarding making for to fit GT500 fascia. We have been working hard to meet your needs and here is the first look.
At this time, we don’t have a time frame when this hood will go into production. We are still working to perfect the hood. We do not have the pricing for his hood yet.
For those who waited, thank you for your patient. Please PM me if you have any question.

I was interested in the GTS2 hood but will be the first to put money down on the hood for the GT500 front end.

Please keep us posted and if there is a group buy I’ll gladly send in a deposit.

It looks like Trufiber is going to deliver what Shelby couldn't? Chances are, it's going to be priced reasonably too!

Am I the only one that sees the irony in this? Shelby got too greedy, too quick IMO.

Thank you Trufiber for listening to us.......unlike Shelby. You all are truely customer oriented and we appreciate it greatly. I'm very interested in this hood and can't wait for additional information. I know this is early, but could there be a group buy price for this hood?????? Thank you again!!!!

So far this looks like exactly the hood I am looking for. The nose details look pretty **** good for a KR style hood. Please continue your development and post more photos when you can. I sincerely hope you take the time to do the rear heat vents correctly for the right look with the louver inserts like the original.

Thanks for the great work so far and I truely hope to be purchasing a hood from you guys real soon!

If this is as good as I think it is...I might finally have a reason to cash in the +$500 in change that's been sitting in my bedroom for some time.

Ditto what jc said and another question are the front scoops functional (hope so) as with the rear vents it would truly move heat out of the engine bay!! I'll take mine in Vista Blue, thank you!!

I wanna add my 2 cents about the heat extractor vents. I agree w/ jcthorne. I hope they are the same style, size, and placement as the KR hood.

I've been told this hood IS indeed functional and it looks to become available in about 6-8 weeks. Personally, I don't mind waiting for them to get it right. My credit card is ready to give a deposit and I'd be glad to help organize a group buy.

Some details I think we are all hopeful for out of this beauty:

- Fully functional (already confirmed)
- Smooth sides like the GTS2
- Rounded rear edge
- Correct heat extractors like GTS2
- Uses OEM brackets

Phil, can you followup regarding these questions and any others?
