Hi all. Could one of the photoshop gurus help me out here? I am getting stripes painted and am interested to know what my car would look like with mineral grey stripes and/or dsg stripes. I think that a double 10" and inside/outside pins 1/4" is going to tickle my fancy. I love this Car and the Performance white begs for attention with the black accents. TTT ahead of time. This is the best thread I have read in a while.

Check this (early Shelby dimensions). i almost went with a light gray, but favored this color as it was complimented by the interior.

Thanks again John for all of the helpful info relating to vinyl stripes. I had never heard of the glaze product, but I will definitely use it next time.

I used 3M 7125 series vinyl in metallic silver on my car. It looked great when they were new, but now after less than two years they are looking bad. Not cracked, but dull and spotted. I waxed them regularly and used products that specifically mentioned UV protection.

I plan on re-striping, but I have a question first:

Where can you buy a roll of the 'good' automotive 2 mil vinyl that you mention? And how does it compare in price to the 3M stuff? (I bought a 20" x 25' roll for about $50.00.)

Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

I also have a Performance White, and would love to see more pics, photoshops, with different colors. I was origanally looking at Silver, after seeing the Shelby with that color, but now leaning more toward a dark grey or metalic charcoal. Anyone find any pics.....post a link. Thanks!
