Thanks! COuld you take the thickness of the rubber liner into account, such that the measurement reflects the size of the hole in the aluminum?

My wife calls it the "wart", but I think the clean hood does have nice lines to it, but he "wart" looks tougher and with the rumble that comes out the back end it seems more like a muscle car. I ordered the scoop and engine cover combo was very disappointed the see the cover was plastic and not chrome, which I thought it was in the pictures.

In the end knowing what I do now, I would have got a clean hood and spent the money on as better engine cover.

OR go all the way the a Ram air hood & CAI which more along the lines of the GT500 and not the GT/CS

I like the hood scoop i guess personal preference its your car do what you want.

After removing my GTAP hood scoop, bending the back corners so they would better hug the anhedral shape of the hood, applying 3M body molding double sided tape to the entire circumference of the scoop, and re-installing it, it looks so good (it is flush at ALL points of the scoop), that I'm 100% happy with it and keeping it, regardless of lack of function and aerodynamics.
