Hood mod. Anyone work w/ Fiberglass?

If anyone's still following this - all done. I used a rubberized texture paint, then top-coated with an ultra flat black. It's actually black, although the contrast between the gloss black hood and ultra flat black makes it look gray when the camera flash hits it. Not 100% perfect, but it is 99% what I was hoping for. So, for a first-timer I'm pretty happy. Now all's I need is some warm weather so I can get the car to a bodyshop so they can paint the top of the hood Torch Red.

nice job...so I take it you got a good deal on this thing since its all discontinued and everything?...I'd like to learn fiberglass myself...maybe one day I'll screw something up and have no choice but to learn how to fix it lol...
