You can use fishing line to remove the scoop from the vehicle and then paint cleaner to clean off the paint. The scoop will need to have the old tape removed and new tape applied. You can get this from a paint supply house.

3M makes a Automotive Adhesion Promoter #4298 You might find some at the supply house, if not, I ordered mine off the net. Do a search for the promoter and it will come up. I had to by the whole box but it has come in handy for applying all the other stick on stuff.

We had to take them off my sons 05 Mustang GT as Razzi did a terrible job of matching the Sonic Blue Paint, out body shop just used some 3M double sided tape from Wal-Mart it will have a red outer cover, cut to size and apply, we didn't use the excellerator.

I would call Razzie or e-mail their customer service and ask for them to send you some new tape. We repainted both window scoops and reapplied no big deal........ Just a note remember to clean glass and the scoops with alcohol to get any dirt off before applying tape, good luck!

The body shop just eased it off with a sharp scraping blade, it was no big deal, did you give any thought to contacting Razzie direct and see if they would send a new set of tape. As I recall these were expensive, I don't particularly like them as my 05 is more of a retro, but my teenager wan't them on his 05 and we ordered off ebay.

Let me know how you get this worked out. Just take your time and don't get in a hurry, I would do it with them warmed up with a blow dryer and there are many posts with members using fishing line.

We haven't had any problems with fresh tape, again I would advise against the promoter enhancer product, just my thoughts......

The adhesion promotor would have eaten into your plastic, I skipped it on my CDC Interior upgrade kit after talking to the company that makes it, if you use one of the by products of the extra adhesion is your plastic gets messed up.....

Good luck glad everthing worked out, a big company like Razzie is going to take care of their customers..

well, the scoops came off very easily with a narrow flexable scraper and the old tape was east to remove. however , applying the new tape is a real pain in the butt -getting it to lie flat around the curves. perhaps i am being too **** but i don't want to do it again
