This kit has been around for awhile and the fact that it still hasn't hit the market would worry me as someone trying to buy it. I think the first time I saw this kit was back close to when the 05's starting hitting the dealerships. Oh well good intentions, poor choice of color, terrible service.

yeah. I am kinda bummed about it, but i think it is probably better to go with the setup i went with. cs-6 shelby hood, stock front clip, cervinis ducktail. it will still look badass, and will probably be less headache.

Man I could have made you a killer deal on a Cervini's ducktail as I have one for sale currently.

Soooooooooo, how much for the tubing as well? I rather purchase a kit than go to a shop to get it bent (and they bend me instead with how much they want for the work!).

Oh, and the tips, any word on the tips?

its REALLY hard to get past that sickly color

the front end just looks wierd to me ... similar to the old one but something about it overall is odd to me and just has a very plastic look to it (just MHO)
obviously I'm biased but I like the look of the Cervini kit better

Here's a pic of mine

If anyone wants the parts the molds are with Kaenen Performance and I cant get any production times on parts. The front molds have been done since SEMA this year. Side exhaust covers have been done even longer. At this point it's looking like we will just put this to rest and move on.

FARBER have not heard from you since you asked me to get your nose on order of course I have not heard from Kaenen either. It is probably better you did something else at this point. I would like to see something become of this kit but it’s not working for me with the amount of energy I have put into the stuff and the amount of return it is paying. Good Luck with your mustang.

2006GT500 Yes the kit did look good form the get go. The color was to keep people talking about the car and it did, look at all the color comments on here. We were to have built a Vista Blue Mustang with Wimbledon White stripes as soon as the parts became available for the 2007 Marketing campaign. That car has now been built as a STEEDA. As for the comment on customer service I don’t recall talking to you on the phone or in e-mail’s. I don’t spend a lot of time on these forum sites so it is hard for me to get back to people when they ask questions here. That is why I have my web pages that have contact numbers and email listed in my signature for this site.

We’ll see where this kit goes from here, but I’ll bet it doesn’t go much farther than the Grabber Lime SEMA car. Looks like the SEMA car will be going away so we car recoup production costs on the development of the kit and move on with other business at hand.

Anyhow thanks for whoever's time and it may or may not happen at this point who knows.

Rick

Havent heard from me? have you bothered answering a phone lately? I called 3 times a day to get status, and nobody answered or returned any calls. I tried posting in this thread to get your attention (see page 7 of this thread) and received no reply although you saw fit to answer another post the very same day. I have to call B.S. here, and frankly I am not a big fan of steeda midwest at the moment. I had money in hand, and a body shop waiting for parts.

I am tired of these people who advertise the availability of cool stuff, and then blow off the customer when they actually want to order something.

shoot straight, or pound sand.

I haven't had any issues with Rick. Besides calling you could've emailed or send a PM. I called several times to get my wheels ordered, and finally PMed him and that worked, but that's the nature of business that have good products and are busy, you have to keep trying, and trying different things.
You can't honestly get upset because an executive of Hallibrand Wheels won't answer the phone...

Rick I attempted calling as well. I understand being busy and all, it just gets frustrating. I posted a few times about the spoiler that is on that car and never got any kind of response and you would answer other questions posted. Good luck with future endeavors, sorry to hear this one didn't work out. Any idea as to what will become of the original one that they made in Eleanor colors?

Not sure what you are trying to say here, I was dealing with steeda midwest, and rick who seems to be very cool but too busy to deal with customers. I guess it's unfair for one to expect to be able to purchase something.

I also work at Halibrand Wheels. Have for the past 11 years now. I am also a consultant to several other mustang supply companies around the country. FARBER I guess I have to apologize for not getting the messages you had left on my phone???? Also the emails???? I still have your number I guess I will have to call you. Hope their is no hard feelings over this you know. I was just trying to help you out and have something not everyone else had.

STEEDA MIDWEST is a new company being put together here in the MidWest that like the original STEEDA Autosports is specializing in Mustang performance also being the Midwest distribution point for their parts and serialized car builds. We have just leased an 8200 sqft facility to produce limited edition serialized cars in and warehouse parts. The body kit was intended to be used on our own TWISTED car witch were based on the STEEDA Q400 with our body kit. We had never looked at putting the body kit out on the market to begin with only after we had the manufacturing bugs worked out. I jumped my own gun trying to help some TMS guys out by committing to getting them some parts to them. That is my fault for getting ahead of the game and going against what I advise clients in doing.

Kanean Performance was to have made the kits and is still trying I somewhat hope. The front molds are finished and so are the side exhaust covers and upper scoops. They have the ducktail almost or finished? They make a number of kits on the market (Ronale, Blow By Racing, Steeda Hoods, as well as their own stuff). I went with Kanean Performance because of their commitment to quality & fit and finish of their parts. Who was that that said on here "lmao I’ll just get a Ronale kit"?

It sounds easy enough to get stuff put together from a key board looking at a computer screen and while your setting at home or on break out in the world but when it come right down to it there are several factors that have to all come together to make something happen. In the body kit alone I have been working with over ten manufactures for various components that are all integral to the production and final product. If you have one slip up it pushes everyone back. It’s frustrating on my end so I know you guys have to be frustrated also. We could toss bundles of cash at the kit but then it ends up not being in a price range we all can afford. Say around $9000 to $12000 for a finished product kit. Who’s going to by that?

2006GT500 As for the original Gray and Black Swedish car it is in a private collection and not for sale as far as I know. Our green car is going to be listed on eBay sometime in the next few weeks or taken to the auction down in Tulsa coming up the weekend after the Mid-America Performance Ford & Shelby Meet. We will be at the MAPFSM in Tulsa (6/13-6/17) if you would like to see the car and possibly parts. You just have to get past the color issue it has taken me two years to get use to it. Who knows maybe we will have parts or at least you will know it is a dead project at that point. I’ll leave it like this for now…It’s up in the air and no one has a safety net to ketch it at this point.

Well I'm hoping to make it to the Mid America show so hopefully I'll get to see it in person. Last year it was hot as hell out there so if it's the same this year that Yellow is going to be blazing bright in the sun.

I guess I misunderstood the availability of the parts, and when you said the timeline was three weeks I told my body shop to expect the parts in four weeks give or take. I understand that this situation was not neccesarily under your control, and now having a clearer picture of your actual position in this situation I see that you were trying to help me out more that I knew. I apologize for going off, but I was frustrated, and communication had broken down. for all i knew you were just some guy that ran a shop somewhere in the midwest, and had fed me a line of bs and dahsed my hope of having a one of a kind car. Now I see that you were taking some time to try to help, and I appreciate it even though it didn't work out.

No hard feelings Rick.
