Can you give us any updates on changes that might have been made to the kit?
I'll see if I can get some photos posted ASAP. If not they should be posted right after the 30th MCA this next week. The front has been completely reworked and is 3-pieces now and will retain the factory crash support that ties the front platform together. Grills will be available in Black or Brushed Billet or in mesh style similar to the original grill. Side exhaust remains the same and uses Pypes Mufflers. The upper scoop is the same as original car but the lower scoop has been modified somewhat not to extend into the door as much. The ducktail will remain the same as prototype. The taillights have been fixed and follow the bodylines of the rear of the car. They will still extend onto the deck lid of the car as the original and the whole assemblie will use shielded LED lighting so as not to look like LED's. And they are sequential all the way across the deck lid. I just need to get photos posted. The car is not at our facilities it is at the production and tooling facilities down south.
This has been a long and trying road to take something from prototype show car to production kit parts. When we started this project over a year ago we thought our prototype molds were going to work for production but we were mislead by a supplier. The car is now in the hands of a capable kit manufacture and is almost ready to go to market. I appreciate everyone’s candor even burningman’s out and out rudeness and response to the car has helped to improve the project. I know we’re not a Cherry 6T6 drop top but that was never the point of this project.

I would definitely like to see pics of the taillights. Are they going to look like the original concept that Thalon has on their page of the yellow/green car from Sema that are all seperated?

Style is wrong
You know being a big fan of the 67/68 Eleanor conversions. (I have a 68 Fastback myself). This kit while true to the CVS / Movie version of Eleanor it doesn't flatter the lines of the 05-08. I tried to give it a chance but it seems too rounded for this body style. Even though the current mustang is inspired by the 67/68 the lines are more agressive to go with the modern times. While this kit is modern - its modern in the mid 90's version of the mustang when everything had that bubble / curve to it without a defining line. (My .02)
Also I would suggest a repaint - looks a lot better in orange.

So this car's prototype kit was debuted at SEMA last year, will the official release kit be debuted this year?
So what's the word on these parts? Are they ever going to see the light of day. That frontend really needs to be made. Also, At least 2 hood options. One, eleanor style and the other, factory style. Please post an update. Even if this is not going to happen, please let us know! Thanks.
I'm still looking for side louvers and leaning torward the CS/GT, however, I think that I like these... how they wrap around and flow through the door handle. I'm interested in the kit pieces as well.
