First off, let me thank everyone who has posted here. I have found so many bits of useful information from people all over the country and what I've liked so far is that everyone is accepting and appreciative of individual tastes. There is no "right" mustang to get, its just great to have one and share the experience..I wasn't even going to look at the mustang for my first "real" purchase, but here I am right back from the dealer. Now the agony of waiting for my build date and VIN :bang:

I sometimes feel foolish because I didn't even take a test drive. But when have I ever driven a car and said "No way!"? Welcome and congrats buddy, the wait is miserable but you enjoy the car so much more after it

I feel the exact same way that you do Joe. I just ordered my black 06 two weeks ago. I have been reading these forums alot and realize I wanted this car no matter what. Nothing was going to change my mind. So when I went to the dealer I didn't test drive the car either. I just went in, knew exactly what I wanted, and pulled the trigger. 
I was told 8-12 weeks until I'll be sittin in my car. Since I ordered I've been addicted to this site. good luck

No, I should know my build date in a week or two. Hopefully no longer than end of September. Stoenr, I see you are priority 14. My sheet says 10, which I thought was bad, but my dealer tried to say good..anyone have an idea?

Anyhow...........Joe, I just ordered a 06 myself and I must say you've got good
taste. My car is exactly like yours only with Tape Stripe added, a black Tape Stripe
to be exact. I'm sure I'm just like you cause I can't wait!!!!!

That's one sweet ride you've got ordered. I really like the new vista blue and considered changing. But I'm going to go with my gut and stick with the lime green..I don't think you can really go wrong though

Hey I just wanted to say its really great to see so many new faces around here. More and more guys are popping up all the time now.. I love this. The more people that get involved here, the better and better the discussions keep getting! For any of you lurkers still out there, get involved and post! Ive been an avid reader of these forums since around last October, but didnt start posting until December, I believe. So, take it form me! Get involved! I love seeing new faces!
