Yes, another happy BamaChips Customer
Well to be perfectly honest with you Pat ?? the sucker wants to jump right off the start to the point where if I'm not pushing the throttle down fast enough while releasing the clutch ?? the entire car bucks back and forth as if it's going to stall out on me so it's going to take some time getting used to but other than that ?? HOLY SH**T it's as though the car is on steroids and you were right, not only can you feel the additional power and torque through out the entire RPM range but the throttle response is so much stronger, quicker and YES much more sensitive as well..

... Back at ya. Yeah, you'll get used to it and you will not want to go back to anything else. Wonder if Doug offers a return policy on the other tunes...lol. I went back to the 87 just to experiment and now I have to go through a whole tank of gas
. BTW- Let me know when you get the FRPP/Stingers. I'm I big proponent of the Flows. I love the sound, but I think that I may want something a little louder. I'm only waking up some of my neighbors. I want to wake them all up...lol. Happy New Year
.
I found by letting off the gas before I push in the clutch and giving it a little throttle before I release the clutch really helps. It's all a matter of timing. There is a lag between the throttle cut off and throttle turn on. It might not make sense, but it must be the engine not recognizing a load so it backs off for a split second, then Doug's tune says GO GO GO. Now...once you have a "load" on the engine the throttle is extremely responsive! A friend of mine drove my car yesterday and had the same problem. I can get in his '95 Cobra and get used to his in about 3 minutes. It's all in what you have been driving, IMO. I find these cars very easy to bang through at WOT though!

Rocky....One thing I can say about Doug is once you let him know there is a problem, he'll work his *** off to get your problem taken care of and make sure that you are happy. BamaChips kick ***!

I have noticed this too, but pretty much with the stock tune too.

You know your absolutely right Paul and to be honest with you I've known Doug for almost a year now both as online and by telephone and this was long before I officially became one of his customers ? and within that year Doug has always taken the time to answer each and every one of my technical questions concerning the different CAI systems and also explained in complete detail why he breaks down his tunes into 3 separate areas and how their different from his competitors ? and not once did he ever expect anything in return so I knew from that point on that Doug was someone who can really be trusted..As I said in an earlier post ? I should have know there was a logical reason why that issue with Live Load software took place to begin with ? but at the time I just didn't understand why and as a result ? I became paranoid and freaked out when all along ? I should have known better..

I posted a lot on a Lincoln LS forum as there was not a lot of technical info yet and I created some tech pages as my '00 LS8 had MANY problems when I bought it, forcing me to learn alot about it.
Also, my job has kept me so busy, sometimes I don't get here for weeks at a time! I had this week off, so I was able to get caught up a little bit!

noticed that the race tune is really making my car kick like a mule when it switches gear but DANG this thing is faster then a vette now, last night i came back from a stang club meeting and smoked a C6 vette on open highway, i love these tunes
