Yes, excellent work guys.. couldn't have done it without you. Everyone contributed to picking WMS' brain to get the full worth of this product. From a rookie with little knowledge on this stuff I want to say thanks! That's what makes this site so great, people looking out for one another and working together for all to benefit.

Yeah Pete, I think once that info is posted on their website the "very interested" will be able to feel comfortable in their decision to go ahead with this.

But..sounds like the box wont be ready until next week some time. No quote on shipping either, I asked for next day if they could pull off a complete kit.

 

Mike - Just placed my order for the whole kit. Now the waiting game begins...

 

I placed my order yesterday for an X-2 with Bama on their web site and then I e-mailed Doug to ask him what he thought about a tune for the WMS .

Not only did he get right back to me regarding my e-mail . . . . but . . . get this . . . he told me that he too has a WMS on order so he can create a tune for it :worship: .



He also said that since I was ordering an X-2 he would try and speed up his R&D on the WMS tune :worship: .

What a guy . . . now I'm really getting jazzed about this intake

 

I am going to get the intake from WMS to create the programs for all of you. I can also set up a GP if there is interest. I need to know a couple things listed below and it would be great if somebody here could be the designated e-mailer to e-mail me so I dont have to check this board every time there is a reply.

1. Are most of you just buying the intake or the actual ram air system?

2. About how many people would be interested in a GP on tuners? There will be some sort of discount but I dont know yet what that would be.

 

I guess another poll could be started to see who would be interested in a tuner for this intake. I may be depending on what kind of a deal is offered.

- I bought just the intake and would like to purchase an X-2 w/ WMS specific tune
- I bought the intake/ram and would like to purchase an X-2 w/ WMS specific tune
- I already have an Xcalibrator but would like to purchase a WMS specific tune

Yeah . . . I had an e-mail conversation with Doug at Bama this afternoon and mentioned that Breenspeed was considering offering a group buy for an X-2 + tune. I asked him if he'd do the same but haven't heard back from him yet.

Either way, it sure will be sweet to have a few WMS specific tunes from each of these outstanding companies

Sure, I won't charge any extra but would be willing to knock off my pricing down to $379 with free shipping if I were to get 5 or more orders if this group buy is done after August 31st.

Now something to get you all thinking about, if you were to throw this all together BEFORE August 31st, atleast confirmed who wants them and emailed me and all the terms worked out, then I could do atleast 5 or more for $350 with shipping.

I know the above sounds a little funny but I have to do it this way to keep well within SCT's dealer rules, I could loose my dealership privilages if I don't comply with these rules. If you have any questions about this please feel free to email me and I'll go further into detail.

Now, I would love to have gotten in on this group purchase but I already have a WMS kit ordered and on it's way so I should have the tuning for it within a week, maybe two depending on my schedule and the dyno's. I'll have some results up soon!
