I might just consider the cat back if it goes much longer for the axle back. I know they claim like 13 hp with the cat back and not much with the axle back but it is hard to swallow the additional cost. But, I am sure you will be thrilled with the sound and extra power. I am truely jealous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that ebay offer would be a "drop ship" from Borla or one of the dealers this company buys from..I HIGHLY doubt this company actually has the part in stock..worth an email to them though to check it out

Thanks for the tip. I will definitely check it out.
Chris,
I will send them an email to see if they are actually on the shelf or like you say being drop shipped from Borla.

figures...AJ-usa is an internet company primarilly and does not stock much at all. Thus, the exact reason why I would doubt this "subaru of dallas" would have them.

Chris,
I actually just got back an email from Subaru of Dallas and they claim they have them in stock and are ready to ship. Anyone out there know if this place is on the up and up. I am ready to buy unless I hear something bad.

Okay, now i am piffed off. I couldn't wait for anyone to tell me if Subaru of Dallas was safe to deal with so I called them about the Borla axle back exhaust and was going to order it and somebody just bought the one and only axle back kit from them 1 hr. ago. :bang: :bang: They have 1 cat back system for sell and that is it. Jeez!!! I have no luck!!! :bang: :bang: They also tell me the Borla is good about waiting for backorders to pile up before going into production on them again. DARN!!!!!!! Thanks to all for the pointers though. Keep them coming. Maybe I can still find a set before 6 weeks.

Boys, I just spoke to Greg (my friend) over at Borla "whom I trained" when I was still there. =).Anyway, he advised me they have NONE in stock and a minimum of 8 weeks or so before they will be shipping any more.I asked him if anybody had any ..Summit,jegs,keystone etc..and he said NOT LIKELY..The last batch they shipped according to him was about 2 months ago.He said maybe steeda may have some , but it is their own design so that is about the only option at this point. He was not familiar with "subaru of dallas" so they obviously buy from another dealer.Sorry I could not track any down for ya, but he said he will let me know if something comes up...

Hi Patience,
I have followed you lead and purchased the last catback Borla exhaust the AJUSA had in stock. You are correct about the price is was $666.00 delivered. I think it is the last one in the country at this time. I really only wanted the axle back version but I have spent the difference in long distance phone calls for in the last 2 weeks. Its on its way!!!! I am thrilled I finally am getting what I want. I want to thank everyone for all of the help trying to find this system for me. . Now I have to wait 4 /5 days for it to get here. Should get it by next weekend. Thanks Patience.

Patience, it's really easy to do if you can get your rear up in the air. it's just a couple more bolts, for the cat-back pipe, than this axle-back how to article.
