Stock front sway bar/add holes 4 adj?

Has anyone added a hole or two to the factory front sway bar to get some adjustability out of it...seems there is plenty of room to add a hole..mayby two..like on aftermarket bars

I believe the front bar from the GT500 has a second hole for adjustment. I have to look downstairs later

Is the bar a bigger diameter? all aftermarket ones seem to be 1 3/8 diameter..i'm just wondering if i could drill another hole and get some more stiffness out of it rather than buy a new one..

Anything you do to shorten the lever arm will make the bar stiffer. Maybe not as stiff as a 1/38, but stiffer. If you are doing this mod only to the front you are going to make it understeer more than it does now. You really need to tweek both ends.

The gt500 coupe front bar has a heavier wall thickness. I dont have them on the car yet. Maybe next weekend.
