This is awesome. I want to hear one of these in person though, before I do it. I am certain that my neighbors will hate it as they always seem to be sleeping when I get home.

Not too loud for sure. I think they are way too quiet inside the car even with the windows down. They would be GREAT on a vert.

They really arent loud at all unless you are BEHIND the car and have line of sight with the tips. Then its loud. But infront of the car or inside, its really not that loud. Which kinda stinks, cuz the guy behind me gets to enjoy them more then me.

if you loosen both clamps on the uneven side, then have somebody pull up hard on the tip while you retighten, problem solved.

im still up in the air between SLP or MAC, the MAC I heard sounds great and sounds like flowmasters, but even louder, esepcially inside the car. Ford Racing is coming out with an axle back kit as well and I would def love to hear their's as well.........the SLP's sound great, but I want an exhaust that is loud all around, inside and outside....

You might have to go to an offroad mid-pipe (get rid of the stock cats) in order to make it much louder...

I've heard that those MAC pipes resonate loud inside the cabin.

when the engine is REALLY cold (read: overnight) if you REALLY get on it (which you shouldnt do on a cold engine :nono: ) it makes like these mini backfires when decellerating. Its nothing really, if you let the car sit long enough for the choke to go off on its own, then start driving, it goes away. We are talking less then a minute till it goes away. Dont worry about it, bro.

I was wondering how bad the SLPs pop on decel because I was listening to the bassani popping in the vid..

If it wasnt for your videos I dont think I would have ordered them. After My wife and me sat here watching/listening - we ordered. We are both pretty pumped to get the SLP's on the car!

Yeah, that would be my question. It is my understanding that mufflers are actually better for performance (on non-race cars) due to their back-pressure. There was a muffler test done on about 10 different types (for 5.0 Mustangs, but should still apply here). Most were about the same, with some showing a little better hp/torque over stock, but when they completely removed the mufflers the HP/torque went down considerably. I can look for the article, think it was on Stangnet or something...

Power is the same..... it might rev a little faster, which is good, but the SOUND combined with the power of this car makes it SEEM much faster. Once you get them, you will know what I am talking about.

and yeah..... my friend was really steady with the camera He is always like that, man, you should see the motorcycle videos we made. "can't see poo, captain!"

If possible - Please find the article - Place I ordered from is out of stock - so if there is going to be a performance loss - I dont want them
