Lee, that's an auto transmission in the dyno? Where's the spike when the torque converter flashes? Even when tuned it just pushes it up the rpm range, and the stock run should have shown it.

Was that a 4th gear pull? if so how'd you get it to not downshift to third when you went WOT?

Well, here we go again.
Please re read the dyno sheets. 39 RWHP and 35 RWTQ on both cars.
What kind of dyno means squat when the base line was done on the same dyno on the same day.
2 other cars gained 35 and 30.

Dyno's are a tool to test for gains or loses, as long as your not base lining with a Dynojet and finishing on a Mutang dyno your results will be the same.
Basiclly if your start #'s are 190 or 390 and you end up different there was "x" gain or lose. There is no other difference in dyno #'s.
Some do read higher or lower then others, but if the same tool is used each time it doesn't matter.
Let's not make this about dyno brand.

Lee, you jumped in the thread post #2 and commented on something with out knowing the whole story, now your back to dis credit my results.

I thought this was water under the bridge, but I guess not.

What does the MMR claim? 15-20 rwhp?? And I beat it by 12.5 rwhp and 15 rwtq, that's a total of a 27-30 rwhp gain from stock. With out my tune!!
Not far off from my findings with my findings. Some are higher and some are lower.

Ok, now I very confused.
Both runs have the exact date and time. 2/12/05 1:40:17

So you did both runs at the same "exact" time??????

Please explian this Lee.
No cool down?
No install time?

I do not understand why you are upset about my comments. I DID NOT say that the information provided was bogus. I said that it was more realistic than the previous post that claimed to achieve 342 ft/lbs of torque to the rear wheels with just a couple of bolt-ons. Nowhere in any of these charts does it show anywhere near those types of numbers. And it was the 342 ft/lb of torque chart that you were using to "prove" superiority over our product. The largest level of rear wheel torque shown between BOTH of your latest supplied charts shows 310 ft/lbs of torque. A TOTALLY realistic value, yet 32 ft/lbs of torque LOWER than your "Kill" chart. I can harldy understand how you can feel that my statements are in any way disputing these 2 new charts...
The automatic dyno test was performed by DIABLOSPORT, and not me. I am just passing this along, since there was another automatic dyno chart posted. For all I know, the programmer locked up the torque converter at an RPM point below the test start point. If you have personal issue with the chart, I suggest you call Diablosport and ask them about the specifics of the test. Again, I did not do the test myself, just like Jay did not do the tests that he has posted, and is passing them along.
The reason why the time is the same is because I had to re-name the files in order for them to work with the latest version of the dynojet runviewer that I used to print out the charts. The standard filename extension that the dyno saves the file as is not compatible with the runviewer that I was using. I could claim that I found a way to cheat time and space, but that would be silly. They were performed on the same day, and you will notice that during the latter test, the temperature was a little warmer...

I'm done too. I think that people can look at what has been said and draw their own conclusions without me having to comment on things any further...

Well, after all the trouble I've had with my "tune", and the dyno graphs that my car has been putting out, anything that has to do with autos I'm interested in.

Also, at this point, I don't believe anyones claims about supposed horsepower gains because of the difficulty I've had in seeing any myself.

I called Diablosport and we'll see what happens.

With all this back and forth crap I have lost interest and I hope Bryan starts a new thread when he gets around to checking his out. I am sure there will be someone to tell him he is full of it. I really hate to see the forum follow all the others. I thought we were better than that.

They both produce results, and for a $150 bucks the JLT is hard to beat.

These results of the JLT are on bone stock cars, so 310 rwtq is what we got. Add pullies, exhaust and charge motion plate and there you go, 340 rwtq.

I am in no way trying to continue the back and forth crap. I was suprised to see yet another negitive post about JLT results.

I think it's funny, my results are questioned and odd looking results with the same dates and times for each run are posted as a comparision??

People need to look at these areas of a dyno sheet. Steeda has sheets on there site that are 45 days apart.
All testing should be same day and conditions.

Big thanks to all who have called and let us know what you think.
Jay

Chris, automatic runs should be done in 3rd. This is nice because your tranny will start in 3rd and stay in 3rd when it is selected on the gear shift. That is why on some sheets you will not see the shift.
Next time keep the selector in 3rd.
Hope this helps
Jay

I talked to the guys at the shop today and they said by the end of next week. We have the Diablo in hand and have 2 cars to test ready and waiting.
Pricing will be the same as my SCT kits.
I will post up the Diablo results when we get them done.
Thanks
Jay

Tucker, man we can't catch a break I'm just thrilled with my set up and it has run ubelievable since it was installed and tuned. Guys, I'm with you and can't wait to see Bryan's results. It really stinks to get worked up about my mods and numbers, only to be called BS on :bang: I think you can see the tune and intake made well over 310+ rwtq by itself....I have a couple other mods to go with it and I think my numbers speak for themselves. Just recently I talked To Steeda's tuner, Sam, and he has seen his customer's cars with my EXACT same mods(except the Steeda intake w/STOCK inlet tube) achieve over 330 rwtq, so whoever thinks 340+ rwtq on a NA car needs to drop some money and feel and see the results. You guys make the choice, I have always tried to help everybody and think you guys will be happy with whatever mods you chose

Well I guess were not done quite yet....Now wait a minute Jay. Your saying, now let me get this straight, that pullies, exhaust, and charge motion plates are going to net you 30 foot pound's of torque? Now Long tube Headers are good for about 20-25 RWTQ, but I don't seem to remember that bieng a mod on the 342 RWTQ car(2k5pony's)? So how was that 30 additional foot pound's of torque gained? I sure hope your not going to say pullies, charge motion plates, and a Cat-Back.....
