Here's the timeslip.

Is that with a manual trans or automatic? If a manual, were you in 3rd or 4th gear at the 1/4 mile mark? My best is in my sig with my manual trans in 3rd gear through the traps. See also the timeslips thread in the GT-Performance section. I have a post in that thread with my timeslip details.

Just curious . . . are you guys with stock gears in your '05/'06's shifting into 4th or holding 3rd through the traps in the 1/4?

Back to Evil Capri's question.
I've been too chicken to spend the time shifting my stock geared, stock 06 GT with manual trans into 4th gear that close to the end of the run. Best speed 103.33 at 6000 RPM through the traps in 3rd gear.
Maybe I'll try grabbing 4th gear next time out to the track. Still getting the hang of launching.

Thanks... but like Paul Harvey would say here's the rest of the story... the 13.31 was my 2nd run... 1st run was a 13.30... so on the 3rd run I got GREEDY and really hit it HARD off the line... well... I ended up driving home on 5 cylinders.. the spark plug in the dead cylinder is physically damaged from something... replaced the plug but now I have a very loud ticking valve train and a lot of exhaust backfire... oops... trying to stay positive... we'll fix it better than it was when she was new! LOL! Worst part is the waiting... this is the crazy spring time in Michigan... gonna be a couple of weeks before I can get her in the shop and tore down... for the V6 the motor comes out to pull the heads... plus it's on the passenger side which has the timing chain on the BACK side of the motor...
just have to smile and say... what doesn't kill me only makes me stronger!

R/T......... .452
60'.......... 1.834 (I can get 1.7 easy so this is a bad launch for me)
330 ........ 5.239
1/8 ........ 8.054
MPH ....... 88.95
1000 ...... 10.442
1/4 ........ 12.461
MPH ....... 112.05
This is with the 125 shot running out of fuel (note the low trap).
