Well, I finally did it Quite pleased as well
Best R/T -.001 (no redlight)
Best 60 ft 2.0
Best 1/4 ET 13.7 @ 100
Track location: Speedworld Motorplex, Surprise AZ Elevation 1250 ft.
Corrected sea level time and ET 13.2@103
I got to the track and watched for a bit before running. After seeing my fellow 05 stangers running 14's and 15's, I started to wonder if I needed my helmet!
I pulled the best time on my first run 13.7@100 with a 2.0 60 ft. My reaction times were fantastic not one of my runs reaction time started with a whole number.
What I found worked best for me was NOT doing a spectacular burnout. Stayed out of the water, cleaned em off a bit and only brake torqued to about 1,500 rpms is what gave me my best time.

Welcome to the club, Tony!!
Curious though... how did you come up with the altitude-corrected time. The formulas I've seen would be more like 13.50's. Also, one of the two tracks here is at 1,450 feet (and the other is at basically sea level) and I typically see 1 to 2 tenths difference between the two.

I pulled it out of my butt
Someone posted a link in here somewhere with the correction factors, that's what I used. Truth be told I was surprised at that number too, seems like an awful lot for 1200 ft.
The main reason for my glee, was that everyone else with me was in the 14's and had problems with traction. Those Nitto's hook real well at the track (What's left of them) And as you well know are extremely dry air doesn't do us any favors either.
I'm gonna try running at night and see what the difference is. Better air and lower temps should bring that down a bit.

and SixtySix, when i was at speedworld last week i couldnt get traction for nothing either. I couldnt even post a 14 second run. Was at firebird last night in the 03 cobra, and discovered it needed a clutch lol.

last time out november: 13.08@ 103my mph was off due to not having it dyno tuned after i replaced the converter. base dyno(as that run was made) 267hp/273tq after tune 281hp/322tq all on a"mustang dyno". he picked me up 70+ ft.lbs. of torque at 3300rpm and the least gain was 14hp/40tq.
i think it should run some 12's now if only the tracks were open around here in MD!
